Pound Coffee Unjeong Main Branch is a specialty coffee and baked-goods café on Waseok Sunhwan-ro 192beon-gil in Paju, Gyeonggi, open 10:00 to 20:00 with parking right in front. A couple stopped by late in the day and took out the last apple Earl Grey financier along with an Aussie Summer Latte and a caffe latte. The caffe latte had a good milk-to-coffee balance, and the two scoops of ice cream on the Aussie Summer Latte went well with the coffee.

Paju kids' café: peach bingsu with peach ice cream, Fruit Forest

Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store is a fruit dessert café spread over three floors at the foot of Simhaksan mountain in Paju, Gyeonggi. Instead of the signature mango bingsu, the writer ordered the peach bingsu for her children, who do not like mango, and it arrived topped with peach ice cream and cheese tucked inside, so the kids scooped it into their own bowls and ate it happily. Even on a weekday afternoon the seats were fairly full, but the wide open view and parking right under the building made Fruit Forest an easy family outing.
