Paju kids' café: peach bingsu with peach ice cream, Fruit Forest
In short
Fruit Forest Paju Direct Store is a fruit dessert café spread over three floors at the foot of Simhaksan mountain in Paju, Gyeonggi. Instead of the signature mango bingsu, the writer ordered the peach bingsu for her children, who do not like mango, and it arrived topped with peach ice cream and cheese tucked inside, so the kids scooped it into their own bowls and ate it happily. Even on a weekday afternoon the seats were fairly full, but the wide open view and parking right under the building made Fruit Forest an easy family outing.

Hi everyone! Surviving the summer heat okay? Do you like bingsu (shaved ice dessert)? Today I went to Fruit Forest, a bingsu spot in Paju! Heading out with the kids for some bingsu!! Parked the car and went on inside!

Here it is — Fruit Forest, the bingsu spot in Paju! Parked right underneath and it was nice to get some fresh air with the kids and my husband after a while. Let's go check out this café-dessert place near Simhaksan.

How fresh was the fruit on display at Fruit Forest?
Walking up the stairs and inside — wow! So much fruit, can you believe it? And it all looked really fresh, this Simhaksan café-dessert spot Fruit Forest!
You could really tell this café takes good care of things! Just look at the fruit — the condition is great!

There was so much mango, and it looked so fresh! And in the fridge — watermelon, pineapple, peaches, melon... so many different fruits! Well-managed, this Paju bingsu spot Fruit Forest is. And the prices were really good too! Bingsu these days can get pricey, especially fruit bingsu — but here you can get bingsu made with good ingredients at a decent price, which I loved most of all.

Weekday afternoon crowd and seating on the three floors
The inside of Fruit Forest is so spacious, seemed like a great spot for family, friends, or group gatherings haha. Found a seat and sat down.

We went on a weekday afternoon and there were still quite a few people around. The view was wide open and the sky was so pretty that day — pretty sky, clean café, and delicious bingsu all in one, so satisfying. This Paju mango bingsu spot Fruit Forest — now let's order some bingsu for the kids.

There were cute little drawings around this Paju bingsu spot Fruit Forest, and the kids loved spotting them.

There was also bread to go with the bingsu, plus other drinks, so you can pick whatever suits your taste.

Why we picked peach bingsu over the signature mango bingsu
The signature at this Paju bingsu spot Fruit Forest is mango bingsu haha, but our kids aren't big mango fans and love peaches, so we ordered peach bingsu instead! Wow, look at that visual!! The fruit was so fresh and piled on generously! Getting excited about the taste.
There was peach ice cream on top too. The kids loved it and ate it right up haha. Fresh fruit, generous portion, delicious — the sweet balance was just right!

Eating along with blueberries and peaches, the blueberries popped in my mouth. Fresh and plump. The fruit was really sweet, generous, and delicious.

At first I tasted the fruit separately, then mixed it all together — the fruit and ice mixed together made for such a great combo. In this scorching summer, bingsu really does chase the heat away. My whole body cooled down, felt like I properly enjoyed a healing dessert!! Thumbs up.

Cheese and peach syrup hidden inside the peach bingsu
They gave us extra bowls so we could serve ourselves. The kids scooped it into their own bowls and said it was so good and dug right in. This Paju bingsu spot Fruit Forest's bingsu even has cheese inside. The combo of cheese, peach, and ice went really well together. And there was syrup drizzled on top — sweet with a peach fragrance, really refreshing.
