The Pizza R + Pasta set costs 46,900 won, and this visit paired a half-and-half pizza of 1987 Hanwoo Steak and Diavolo Pepperoni with double cheese and cheese crust, plus Favorite Toowoomba pasta and a review-event coleslaw. Yesterday was one of those days I really wanted pizza. I'd been curious about Raccoon Pizza for a while, with its red interior and full American vibe. It turned out I could get a half-and-half pizza plus pasta all in one set, so I headed straight to Raccoon Pizza Mapo Station branch, a Mapo Station pizza spot worth checking out! 🍕
Turns out this place has a real presence in the Mapo pizza scene these days. Their store info says the dough is aged daily and they use plenty of premium cheese. The signature Raccoon Cheese Waterfall Pizza is apparently named for the way the cheese pours down like a waterfall 🧀

Is there a wait at Raccoon Pizza? Reservation tips
When we went, there was a group dinner party and the place was full, so we waited about 10-15 minutes.
Seeing the cute waiting chairs outside, I figured this must be a place people wait for, and I slightly regretted not calling ahead or making a reservation 😂 If you're going in the evening, definitely book ahead!
Inside Raccoon Pizza Mapo Station: seating and atmosphere

Walking in, you're hit with the red-toned American vibe. Lots of photo-worthy spots, so it'd work well for a date or a gathering with friends.

The self-service bar and condensed milk sauce
While waiting for our order, I checked out the self-bar. Pickles, jalapeños, and garlic dipping sauce were all set out for you to take as much as you like. Pizza just isn't complete without pickles, and it was nice being able to grab as much as I wanted without feeling self-conscious 😊

What really caught my eye was the condensed milk sauce! Raccoon Pizza recommends pairing it with the pizza as the tasty way to eat it. I didn't get to try it this time, but I'm definitely dipping into it next visit 🍯
What is on the Raccoon Pizza menu?

From the signature Raccoon Cheese Waterfall Pizza to upscale options like the Basil Mascarpone Pizza, there's plenty to choose from and it's genuinely fun to pick. (What's in the photos isn't even close to everything — there are really so many options!) Being the greedy pair that we are, we naturally went for a half-and-half combo to try two at once,
Our order: Pizza R + Pasta set for 46,900 won
- 1987 Hanwoo Steak + Diavolo Pepperoni (half-and-half set)
- Extra double cheese topping
- Cheese crust added
- Favorite Toowoomba pasta
- Zero Cola 1.25L
- Plus a handmade coleslaw salad from a review event
Honest review of each dish

First out was the coleslaw we got from the review event!

It came with hot sauce and parmesan cheese! We also grabbed everything from ketchup to garlic dipping sauce at the self-bar and put it to good use, haha

Favorite Toowoomba pasta
A thick, slightly spicy cream pasta. It came out before the pizza, which made it taste even better I think, and if you like cream pasta, this one's pretty universally likeable.

Daily-aged handmade dough with double cheese and cheese crust
I think pizza really comes down to the dough, and this daily-aged handmade dough was definitely chewy and unusual in the best way. The cheese already stretched a mile, and doubling it up made the flavor even richer, then adding the cheese crust — which honestly shouldn't ever be skipped — doubled the flavor again. If you love cheese, adding these extras is a strong recommendation!
1987 Hanwoo Steak pizza
The hanwoo steak pizza was delicious too. Ordering it half-and-half made it easy to alternate with the spicy pizza.
Diavolo Pepperoni pizza
The pepperoni comes with peperoncino mixed in, so a sharp kick of spice hits right away. Tasty, but pretty spicy — haha (I was genuinely caught off guard, haha). If you're not great with spice, keep that in mind. Alternating between pickles and cola helped reset my mouth, which was nice. Have them together!
Paying with local currency and sangsaeng pay
Raccoon Pizza Mapo Station branch accepts local currency (paper, card, mobile), Zero Pay, and easy pay! I happened to have some cashback saved up on sangsaeng pay, so I paid it off in a budget-friendly way 😊!!!

Next time I want to reserve ahead so I can skip the wait and try the signature Raccoon Cheese Waterfall Pizza, the Basil Mascarpone Pizza, and finally that condensed milk sauce 😊 If you're near Mapo Station looking for a place for a date, a friend gathering, a family dinner, or an office party, I recommend Raccoon Pizza Mapo Station branch!
