Retro hanok Korean BBQ at Omokgyo, no smoke smell on clothes: Gamgol
Gamgol Yeontanjip Mokdong (감골연탄집 목동점) is a briquette-grilled Korean BBQ restaurant in Yangcheon, Seoul, a 1-minute walk from Omokgyo Station, decorated like a Joseon-era hanok with 1970s–80s retro touches. On a weekend outing, the writer grilled pork neck (moksal) and seolhwa kkodeulsal, then had flat bibim noodles, cubed briquette fried rice and a plum smoothie from the payment counter. Even with a briquette fire, clothes barely smelled afterward, making Gamgol Yeontanjip Mokdong an easy pick for a date in Omokgyo.
