Yeouido burger shop for a weekday dinner combo and lager: Bass Burger
In short
Bass Burger Yeouido is a handmade burger restaurant in basement level 1 of the Yulchon Building on Gukjegeumyung-ro, Yeouido, Seoul. On a weekday evening the writer ordered the Bass Burger combo, cheese bacon fries, chili mozza cheese bars and a Bass Lager. Bass Burger Yeouido is a handmade burger place on the B1 level of the Yulchon Building, near IFC Mall in Yeouido. I was wondering what to have for dinner in Yeouido and ended up here naturally. I'd been wandering around the IFC Mall area, felt like a handmade burger, and it turned out to be a good choice haha

What's the weekday evening vibe, and how do you order?
Bass Burger Yeouido gets a steady stream of customers even on weekday evenings, and it's a casual place where you order at a kiosk. Even at dinnertime on a weekday, people kept coming in, and it felt like a lot of office workers stop by. The inside is clean and the mood is casual overall, so it was easy to relax and eat.

Ordering at the kiosk was easy, and the food came out faster than I expected, so there wasn't a long wait.

What did I order at Bass Burger Yeouido?
This time I ordered the Bass Burger combo, cheese bacon fries, chili mozza cheese bars and a Bass Lager.

A burger alone felt like it wouldn't be enough, so I added sides too, and the whole combination was really satisfying!

How does the Bass Burger combo taste?
The Bass Burger combo is the most basic item on the menu, yet it was well made. The bun was soft and moderately moist, so it was easy to eat, and the patty was thick and juicy. It wasn't overly strong, and the meat flavor came through gently. The sauce isn't heavy, so the ingredients' own taste shines, which I liked. The lettuce and tomato were fresh too, so it stayed crisp to the last bite.

Potato chips? French fries? Either way, they came with the combo, and fresh out of the fryer they were nicely crunchy, which I liked. The seasoning was just right, so they were fine even without any sauce. Of course, they're even better dipped in ketchup lol

The cheese bacon fries were my favorite side
The cheese bacon fries were especially good among the sides at Bass Burger Yeouido. There's a generous amount of cheese sauce over the potatoes, plus plenty of bacon, so the flavor was just great.

The cheese is rich, so it went really well with the potatoes, and I kept reaching for more. The portion is just right to share if there are two of you, so I recommend ordering it together!

Chili mozza cheese bars: a slightly spicy cheese side
The chili mozza cheese bars were more satisfying than I expected. They're crispy outside and packed with mozzarella inside, so it's fun to bite in and watch the cheese stretch. They're slightly spicy, which cuts the richness of the cheese, so the balance was great. Eating them with the burger changed the flavor from bite to bite, which made everything even more enjoyable.

Does Bass Lager go well with a handmade burger?
Bass Lager was clean and easygoing overall.

The carbonation is neither too strong nor too weak, just right, so it paired well with the handmade burger, and with the cheese bacon fries in particular the combo is the best! The lager rounds off the whole meal smoothly, which I really liked.

What's the best combo at Bass Burger Yeouido?
At Bass Burger Yeouido, I recommend the Bass Burger combo with cheese bacon fries and a Bass Lager. Overall it felt like a dependable handmade burger place. It isn't heavy-handed and the ingredients' flavor really comes through, so it's easy to eat, and adding the sides makes it even more satisfying!
If you're looking for a light meal in Yeouido near IFC Mall or The Hyundai Seoul, I think it's well worth recommending. Next time I definitely want to try the other burgers too haha
