Giheung Station burger joint for a shared shrimp burger: WeWe Burger

The weather has been so nice lately, hehe! This time my husband and I went for handmade burgers at WeWe Burger (위위버거), near Giheung Station in Yongin. We usually eat franchise burgers, but that day I really wanted a proper handmade one, haha.

Where is WeWe Burger near Giheung Station?

WeWe Burger is on the ground floor of the Hillstate Giheung shops (63 Giheungyeok-ro, Building 205 shops). It's close to AK Plaza at Giheung Station too, so it's a perfect spot to drop in while shopping or on a date nearby!!!

The red sign stands out even from far away, and the full glass front makes the whole place feel bright, haha. You can see right inside from the front, so you know the vibe before you enter. It had a clean, casual handmade burger shop feel!

WeWe Burger parking and opening hours

For parking, use the Giheung Station transfer parking lot. The shop supports 1 hour of free parking, and you register your car by asking the staff, so just check before you leave after your meal.

Opening hours are Tue–Sun 11:00–22:00, and it's closed on Mondays.

Inside WeWe Burger: is it okay for eating alone?

The inside is decorated in cute, colorful touches, so it looked good for eating solo too. I was the very first customer, so I could take photos of the interior freely, lol.

It was full of decorative props, and the owner was thoughtful enough to leave hair ties at the counter.

You order at the kiosk at the entrance. There was a wide choice, from the classic burger to the cheese burger, truffle burger and shrimp burger.

The special thing about WeWe Burger is that the buns are made in the shop! You can choose between a chewy sesame bun and a soft brioche bun 🤤 For sides, besides regular fries there are sweet potato fries and truffle fries, so you can build a set however you like.

That day at WeWe Burger I picked the classic burger with fries, and the shrimp burger with sweet potato fries.

Classic burger: thick but mild, a great basic

I ordered the most basic one, the classic burger! WeWe Burger's classic comes with a beef patty, tomato, onion and other vegetables. There are pickles too, but they'll leave them out if you ask. The bun wasn't dry at all but soft, which I liked, and everything came together nicely.

It's so thick, wow. I was moved by how generously it's packed. Everything spilled out while I was cutting it, haha... The crunch of the onion went well, and the tomato cut through the richness here and there. With handmade burgers you sometimes get tired of too much sauce or grease, but the classic burger was just right: mild and tasty.

This shrimp burger was really good. I don't know what that white sauce is, but it went so well with the shrimp patty, and it was the kind of addictive taste where your hand keeps reaching for more.

As you can see, you can tell the owner doesn't skimp on ingredients, right? I want to eat it again... My husband and I split everything half and half, and I savored the shrimp burger bite by bite. Highly recommend!

WeWe Burger is a handmade burger shop I'll remember for making even its buns in-house. The classic burger is a basic beef patty and vegetables combo that anyone can enjoy, and the shrimp burger is a good choice when you want something different. The fries and sweet potato fries each taste different, so picking sides was fun too, haha.

It's close to Giheung Station and offers parking support, so it's worth a visit when you're craving a handmade burger nearby!
