About

Mujin Yeontan began in 2007 over a coal-briquette fire lit by the owners' parents, and the Millak-dong briquette-grill restaurant is now run by three siblings. At Mujin Yeontan, the two daughters carry on the gopchang seasoning recipe handed down from their parents, while the youngest sibling selects the Hanwoo beef cuts. Mujin Yeontan grills its meat over a strong briquette fire to give it a smoky flavour.

At Mujin Yeontan, gopchang comes either seasoned or with salt, pork neck is served as jumeok-gui, and Hanwoo beef intestines are served as a hot pot with a spicy broth. The side dishes and sauces served with the meat at Mujin Yeontan are made by the owners' mother from Korean-grown ingredients.
