My older sister brought the family here before, and since the parking lot was spacious and the eel was good, we came back again.

There are so many parking spaces and the area is huge, so you really do not need to worry about parking..! It seems genuinely convenient for group gatherings. Recommended for anyone who worries about parking and for group get-togethers!

Grilling eel at home is sneakily inconvenient because of the smell and smoke, right?! You can also take home par-grilled eel, so you can enjoy it comfortably 👍 They give quite a generous discount for takeout too, so it is very reasonably priced.

Choose your eel after seeing the portion yourself

Whenever I go out for eel, I always wonder how much to order. Here, they let you see and choose the eel yourself, so you can judge the portion and it was really easy to choose 👍👍👍

This is the eel we chose. Can you believe that price for three servings?! The table-setting fee was separate, of course, but the amount was truly generous for the price.

Eels aging very deliciously 🐟🐟🐟

A partitioned dining hall and a wide variety of side dishes

As you would expect from a popular eel spot, it was busy and the hall was full that day, but it was less crowded than on my previous visit, so it was much more pleasant. The tables are separated with partitions too, which made it feel more private than other eel restaurants.

These are the side dishes served as standard! There was such a variety: chilled cucumber and seaweed soup, pickled onions, ssammu (pickled radish sheets for wraps), kimchi, green onion kimchi, myeonginamul (pickled wild garlic leaves), and more. Personally, I thought the green onion kimchi was even more delicious than last time. It tastes absolutely fantastic with eel 😋

You can take as much as you need of any extra side dishes or sauces from the well-stocked self-bar! You can freely take wrap vegetables too, and I loved how fresh they were, as if they had just been picked. My favorite accompaniments are garlic with sesame oil, ginger, green onion kimchi, and perilla leaves—what do you usually eat?!

As we were tasting the side dishes, the eel finally made its da-da-da-da entrance!! Ready to eat!!

A staff member neatly arranged the par-grilled eel on the grill before leaving, and from here, we just had to cook it ourselves.

I feel like I have really been nourishing myself properly this month 💪💪 I did not even like eel before, but why has it been so delicious lately,,, haha

Eel soup that was refreshing when the richness set in

Last time, we ordered it as a finishing dish and it somehow felt a little lacking, so this time we ordered it as a proper dish. It was so refreshing this time, and the seasoning was absolutely spot-on,,! When you are eating eel, there comes a point where it starts to feel rich, and if you order this then, you can keep eating endlessly 😋😋😋

Mix rice into it and one bowl disappears in no time 🪄

When you order eel soup, it also comes with gungchae namul (seasoned stem lettuce) and seasoned pickled radish 😁😁

For the last row, I asked my sister to put it on all at once in a cool, neatly lined-up way like the staff member did, but she seriously could not do it at all, which was so funny hahaha

Even the very last row of eel was perfectly golden brown ✨

The eel soup was starting to cool down, so we put it on the grill, and that was such a good choice. It felt like starting all over again.

We were too full to leave a receipt review, but I really recommend that you do! They give you eel tteokgalbi (grilled eel patty), can you believe it?! Usually review events mostly give drinks, but eel tteokgalbi is easy to feed to little ones, and apparently kids love it too—so for families with kids, it is not a choice but a must!
