Yongsan ramen restaurant, custom toppings: Menya Seoul
In short
Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch is a ramen restaurant on the seventh floor of Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul. I tried the ₩20,900 clear Korean broth double dongpo pork set with karaage and a drink, choosing the broth heat and toppings. Verdict: a fun, easy solo meal between shopping or a film.

I had something to do near Yongsan Station last week and came across Menya Seoul! It was a great place to eat without needing to head outside, and it would also be nice to stop by before or after shopping or a movie.

Ramen restaurant location on the 7th floor of Yongsan I'Park Mall
Menya Seoul is on the seventh floor of Yongsan I'Park Mall! It is easiest to find if you head toward CGV!
How do you choose the broth heat and toppings?
I usually love ramen, so I could not just walk past it. Looking at the menu, I saw that you can choose everything from the broth heat to the toppings, so you can have it just the way you like!!

You can also choose between dongpo pork and jambon for your topping, so there were more options than I expected. I would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to eat alone near Yongsan Station or for ramen at Yongsan I'Park Mall!

Kelp vinegar and chili oil are provided at the table! They will bring you more if you ask, haha.
Clear Korean broth double dongpo pork set

✔️ Clear Korean broth double dongpo pork set ₩20,900 This double option comes with twice as much dongpo pork as the basic menu item, so if you love meat, I personally recommend the double. Ordering it as a set also gives you a side and a drink, and I chose karaage for my side.

A bowl of ramen, karaage, and a drink made it just right for eating alone. Plus, there was double the amount of big, chunky dongpo pork, so the presentation was the best!!💗

The noodles were cooked just right too, and I think even people who are particular about the texture of ramen noodles could enjoy them without issue👍🏻
The fun of eating it with different toppings

What I liked about Menya Seoul's ramen was that it was not just noodles and broth—the ingredients were really varied! Along with the dongpo pork, it came with several toppings including jambon, egg, bean sprouts, seaweed, and scallions.
So I started out mostly with the noodles and broth, then added bean sprouts or seaweed along the way and ate the dongpo pork too. It was fun to enjoy the bowl a little differently as I went. I especially liked how the bean sprouts added a crisp texture now and then.
Karaage as the set side

There were several set sides to choose from, and I picked karaage (Japanese fried chicken). It was nice to pick up a piece or two in between bites of ramen, and of course, it was so good with the ramen, haha.
Since a drink is included too, you can have ramen + karaage + a drink all at once, which is GOOD💗 If you want to try a few things together rather than just one item, the set menu seems like a good choice!
There are so many restaurants around Yongsan Station that I always end up wondering what to eat, but Menya Seoul is somewhere I think I will remember when I am craving ramen again. In particular, it was fun to choose the broth and toppings to suit my taste, and there were lots of ingredients in one bowl.
The clear Korean broth I had was delicious, but next time I would like to try a spicy broth too :) If you are looking for somewhere to eat alone near Yongsan Station, or want a quick meal while shopping and are looking for ramen at Yongsan I'Park Mall, give it a visit!
