Goyang bossam restaurant with double-layer pork: Park Man-bae Arirang

After shopping at Starfield Goyang and stopping by a café, I searched for a good restaurant in Wonheung and found this delicious gabrisal bossam place near Wonheung Station: Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam (박만배아리랑보쌈) ❤️ It is on the first floor of the Topclass building by Wonheung Station.

It is on the first floor of the Topclass building right beside Wonheung Station. There are lots of good restaurants in this building; look for Park Man-bae Arirang in Unit 127. If it is hard to find, look for Twosome Place—this Wonheung bossam restaurant is right next door. I loved that I could walk straight in on the first floor without taking the escalator, and above all, the parking garage is comfortable, making it ideal whether you drive or arrive by subway. That makes it a recommended spot for company dinners or family gatherings without any hassle ✔️

A Changneungcheon Stream view and a pleasant interior

The view from the restaurant looks out over Changneungcheon Stream, so it does not feel closed in, and the interior is very clean. I also liked the neat tables and the simple, comfortable space. It looked great for a group dinner or a get-together with friends, haha.

Have both cabbage bossam and kimchi bossam with the half-and-half order

Even the basic side dishes were neat and beautifully arranged. I was genuinely surprised by how good the stir-fried fish cake was. This was a Wonheung restaurant where the sides made me look forward to the main dish. We had the small half-and-half bossam, with complimentary kalguksu or tray makguksu.

Cabbage bossam and kimchi bossam are the main dishes. The difference is that cabbage bossam comes with salted cabbage, while kimchi bossam comes with bossam kimchi. But the half-and-half bossam includes both cabbage bossam and kimchi bossam, so you can enjoy it all~~~+-+ Naturally, we ordered the half-and-half bossam ❤️

A small size, but the pork was stacked in two layers

The two of us ordered the small half-and-half bossam. At first it did not look like much, so I wondered if it would be enough, but on closer inspection the gabrisal was stacked in two layers, hahaha. Other restaurants choose plating that makes the portion look bigger, but here they sliced it very thinly and stacked it up. So there was two to three times more meat than the photo suggests. When I lifted it slightly, it was enough to fill an entire plate—a very generous portion.

I put two pieces of gabrisal bossam on nutty cabbage, topped them with salted shrimp and kimchi, wrapped it all up, and took a bite. Ah, it was clean-tasting, nutty, and delicious. 🌟 Five stars~!!!!

There was so much pork that I wrapped the kimchi in pork.

Nutty, delicious, and delicious. This is my new regular bossam spot near Wonheung Station~ Even though it is restaurant food, it sat comfortably in my stomach: not overly seasoned, just mild and clean. And kalguksu as a free service!

Choose when to have the complimentary kalguksu

When ordering, you can choose either kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) or tray makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles) as the complimentary dish, and we chose hot kalguksu. You can eat it with the meat or have it as a meal after finishing the meat; we chose the latter. You can select this on the tablet menu.

The broth, made with clams and crab, was refreshing and deeply flavored. The thin, silky kalguksu noodles were in exactly the right state for having carbs after the meat 👍 And because the broth was so refreshing, it even made me crave soju—one of Wonheung's best restaurants, hahaha. So satisfied!!!!

Mild and nutty gabrisal bossam

Gabrisal bossam!!!! It was the most delicious thing I have eaten recently. If you are looking for a good restaurant in Wonheung, I highly, highly recommend Park Man-bae Arirang Bossam for a mild, nutty protein meal, haha. The owner is very kind, the restaurant is very clean, the food is beautifully presented and delicious, and the prices are reasonable—there is no reason not to go.
