Yangsan Italian restaurant with shrimp rosé pasta: Bueokgan

Bueokgan Restaurant (부엌간레스토랑), an Italian restaurant in Beomeo, Mulgeum, Yangsan, is inside the Oslo Park shopping complex, close to Yangsan Pusan National University Hospital and Namyangsan Station.

The Oslo Park branch has an interior inspired by a stylish European art museum. It feels distinctly European, with beautiful arches and a deep-red floor that gives the space its own unique charm.

Once you finish ordering quickly on the tablet, they bring out the drinks first.

What we ordered and corkage details

The grapefruit ade is fizzy and sweet, while the Single Grapefruit is basically grapefruit juice that keeps the fruit's flavor intact.

Corkage is free for up to three bottles; from the fourth bottle, there is a ₩15,000 charge per bottle. The table next to us was having a glass of wine they had brought with their steak, and I was jealous, haha. Next time, I’m bringing wine too and cutting into a steak.

Today we ordered shrimp rosé pasta, arugula prosciutto pizza, and pastry soup. For drinks, we got Single Grapefruit and Zero Cola.

Of the three, the shrimp rosé pasta was the best that day.

A good space to visit with a baby

There were lots of bright colors, which gave it a cute, cheerful feel. They even had high chairs in one corner! They also have children's tableware, so it seems like a good place for a family meal with a baby.

The pastry soup we ordered again

We had the pastry soup on our last visit too, and it was so good that we ordered it again this time.

Last time it felt a little thin, but this time it was much thicker and richer. The pastry also came out a bit more baked?! It had a slightly different appeal. Anyway, the sweet pumpkin soup wrapped in pastry was delicious, haha.

They thoughtfully gave us small side plates and separate spoons for the soup, so we could share it comfortably.

The shrimp rosé pasta, our favorite dish

It was pasta with a nicely thick rosé sauce. There was neither too little nor too much sauce—just the right amount.

The sauce had soaked nicely into the pasta, and it paired well with the shrimp.

An honest take on the arugula prosciutto pizza

This pizza comes generously covered in arugula with a little prosciutto on top, and it is one of Bueokgan's best-selling dishes! Since I love arugula, I had to try it!

The dough was mild and tasty too, but perhaps because it had balsamic vinegar, the sour flavor stood out too much for me. Personally, I thought Bueokgan's other pizza, the jambon pizza, was better.

When we paid after finishing, they told us that a receipt from here gets you 10% off at Famous Venny next door, haha. So we stopped by Famous Venny, which is famous for Australian-style coffee.

My husband and I each had an iced long black, enjoying the 10% discount. It was rich and delicious—much stronger than a typical iced Americano.

Use the Oslo Park parking lot, and mention it when you pay so they can validate it—don't forget, haha.

The atmosphere, food, and service were all above average: a brunch café that works well for a date, a visit with friends, or a meal with a baby! Next time, I’ll bring a bottle of wine and come back for steak.
