Ta-da! This is a meat restaurant in Igok-dong where you can have unlimited-refill meat, among the great places to eat in Seongseo and Dalseo-gu, Daegu!

There is dedicated parking for the building, so no parking worries~~ It holds more than 15 cars, so you can come for a work dinner or family gathering without stressing about parking. The lot was seriously huge!

Unlimited-refill options and a spacious restaurant

The current lunch specials are super reasonably priced too, and with the new unlimited-refill Kang Bong-su domestic pork belly menu, you can enjoy pork ribs, pork belly, makchang (grilled pork intestines), and emperor rib meat as much as you want without feeling self-conscious~! It boasts some of the best quality among Daegu meat buffets, haha.

Let me show you the whole menu. You can order individual portions of meat too, but then you cannot use the self-bar, so unlimited refills are a better deal! There is also a Wi-Fi QR code at the kiosk.

We came as a family of three and ordered the unlimited pork ribs—and of course, we had to have a cold beer too~

The interior is incredibly spacious and pleasant. There are hangers in a corner for your outerwear too, so no need to worry about where to put your coat!

There are lots of seating options, from tables for two to roomy tables for four or more. You pull the grill plate out from underneath the table, replace it, and put it back yourself! It is self-service.

There are private dining rooms inside for groups to eat separately, making this perfect for anyone looking for a meat restaurant with rooms in Dalseo-gu, Daegu! There is also a separate children's playroom for family guests, so kids can play safely while parents enjoy their meal at ease.

It is especially great for family meals with kids, meetups with friends, group work dinners, or anyone looking for a good-value unlimited-refill spot in Daegu. The playroom was so clean and spacious too—the kids really loved it, haha.

A self-service bar with ramen through patbingsu

This is the pride of Gankeun Galbi, a great restaurant in Seongseo, Daegu. Let me show you the self-bar, where you can pick up all kinds of food~!

There was a machine for cooking ramen, and rice was unlimited too! You can have as much steamed rice as you want from the self-bar without ordering extra bowls~ There was seasoned fried chicken and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), too.

There were lots of great self-bar items, including all kinds of fried foods, haha.

You can pick up tongs and scissors at the self-bar too, and there was curry powder and soybean powder that go perfectly with pork skin!

They check the meat's freshness themselves before it comes out, and the side dishes are neatly served in combinations that pair best with the meat! Unlimited pork rib customers can have pork ribs, pork heart and gizzards, and pork skin! (No pork belly or makchang.)

There was a great variety, from kimchi that is nice to grill alongside pork belly to leafy wraps! Right beside it were scallions, raw eggs, sliced rice cakes, and mushrooms to add to ramen, which was nice!

Here is a video of the self-bar food. They had even carefully prepared the side dishes so pork belly fans could enjoy its nutty flavor, makchang fans its chewy texture, and pork rib fans its deep marinade flavor, all in one place!

You can even make patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans) for dessert! With a full dessert course too, this Daegu Dalseo-gu meat restaurant is perfect for a family meal, haha.

Coffee, soft drinks, and slushies are all available too.

Grilling pork ribs diligently

Once you bring over as much self-bar food and pork ribs as you want, they light the grill, and you handle the rest yourself!

The quality of the pork ribs was really good too!

With such great food to go with drinks, you cannot skip somaek—a soju-and-beer mix~ It was still hot out, and the drinks went down so easily~ The ribs look amazing, right? The quality of the unlimited-refill meat is incredible, haha.

You have to grill ribs diligently so they do not burn. My dad says only hardworking people get to eat ribs,,, and he is right. They burn the moment you let your guard down, so keep flipping them!

Ta-da, once the ribs are nicely cooked, move them to the edge so they finish over the residual heat without burning. They were tender to chew and full of juices, so the meat quality was excellent even though it was unlimited refills 🤤

The pork ribs had a lovely smoky char and a sweet-salty marinade, so they were sweet and delicious for everyone, including kids with no picky reactions! The meat was so moist and tender that it went down effortlessly. Seriously delicious ㅠㅠ

Ramen is served~ We cooked one and shared it with the family. The machine cooks it for you, so you just stir it now and then—so easy and convenient. Putting meat on top of ramen is heaven.

After filling up on protein with meat, we could not skip dessert, right~? That nostalgic meat-restaurant ice cream! When I was little, I went to meat restaurants just to eat this..

We finished with patbingsu too—a properly filling meal and full dessert course!
