While traveling in Sokcho, I stopped by Sokcho Jungang Sanghoe (속초중앙상회), near Sokcho Jungang Market. I ordered the small Pro Gaeorijjim (steamed skate), and the tender skate with corn noodles mixed into the sauce stayed with me.

Is it conveniently located after exploring Sokcho Jungang Market?
The restaurant is on the first floor at 28 Jungang-ro 121beon-gil in Sokcho. It is near Sokcho Jungang Market, so it was easy to stop by for a meal after looking around the market. Abai Village, the Gaetbae ferry pier, and Cheongcho Lake Park are also nearby, making it easy to include in a travel itinerary.

What hours and cooking time are listed?
The original post lists hours from 10:00 to 21:00, with regular closure every Tuesday. Break time is from 16:00 to 17:00, and last orders are at 20:30. The standard cooking time is listed as about 15–20 minutes.

What was the atmosphere like for a meal with family or a partner?
My first impression on entering was that the restaurant was neat and orderly. The interior was clean, and the space felt comfortable.

I was happy with the atmosphere while eating. I thought it would be a nice place for a meal with a partner or to bring my parents.

What steamed-skate dishes and prices are available?
There were set meals and individual dishes centered on steamed skate. The prices introduced in the original post are as follows.
- Gao hansang: small ₩55,000, medium ₩70,000, large ₩85,000, extra-large ₩100,000
- Guo hansang: small ₩45,000, medium ₩58,000, large ₩70,000
- Pro Gaeorijjim: small ₩45,000, medium ₩58,000, large ₩70,000, extra-large ₩82,000
We wanted to try the steamed skate itself, so we ordered the small individual serving of Pro Gaeorijjim.

How were the portion and texture of the small Pro Gaeorijjim?
When the food arrived, the red sauce and its sweet-spicy aroma caught my eye and nose first. Even though it was the small size, the portion felt generous to me.
With just a light touch of my chopsticks, the skate meat separated along its grain. It was mild and tender, pairing well with the sweet-spicy sauce that had soaked through it.

What are corn noodles like mixed with steamed-skate sauce?
During my visit, I joined a review event and received corn noodles as a complimentary item. Mixed with the remaining steamed-skate sauce, the chewy, springy noodles were well coated. It was nice to finish the meal with a texture different from the skate meat.
The combination of tender skate meat and corn noodles was what I liked most about this meal. The convenient location after exploring the market and the clean atmosphere were also satisfying.
