Eyelash extensions in Songpa: CC-curl double volume at Rose Lash

Because I do not wear makeup often, I tend to notice a big difference between having eyelash extensions and not having them. This time, rather than going excessively long, I wanted a style that mixed several lengths while making my eyes look more defined, so I visited Rose Lash (로제래쉬) near Jamsilsaenae Station.

I visited by car. There was no parking at the salon, so I used a nearby public parking lot. In the building, I took the elevator up to the fifth floor.

What was the salon like during a daytime visit?

When I visited during the day, sunlight streamed brightly through the windows. The natural light made the whole salon look bright and suited its neat atmosphere.

Which curl and lengths did I choose for double-volume extensions?

After consulting with the owner, I decided on double-volume extensions. This method attaches two extension lashes to each of my natural lashes, creating fuller volume than extensions applied one lash at a time.

I chose flat black lashes and a CC curl. Rather than using one uniform length, I mixed 9 mm, 10 mm, and 11 mm lengths.

How did they look on eyes that do not usually wear much makeup?

With double-volume extensions, the spaces between my lashes looked fuller than they did with one-by-one extensions. If I usually wore heavier makeup, I might have chosen a more natural style, but this amount of volume suited me because I do not wear much makeup. Even bare-faced or with only light base makeup, my eyes looked less plain.

What can you choose if a defined CC curl feels too strong?

I consider the curl as important as the lash length. I like defined eyes, so I always choose a CC curl, and I was happy with it again this time. When I first got extensions, I started with a JC curl and gradually found myself looking for stronger curls.

If it is your first time and a strong curl feels intimidating, I think starting with a lash lift or JC-curl extensions could be a good option. For me, very long lashes feel like too much, but I still want defined eyes, so this double-volume combination of mixed lengths worked well.

The location near the station and the bright salon atmosphere with daytime sunlight also stayed with me. For my taste, which is to like lashes that look distinctly lifted even without makeup, it was a satisfying treatment.
