In short
Organic Curly Kale Flo is a stick-pack powder made from freeze-dried organic curly kale, which I tried in Korea. Why did I choose curly kale powder?
I wanted to increase the amount of vegetables in my diet, but on busy days it was difficult to prep and cook green vegetables. While looking for an easy way to add them to my meals, I came across Organic Curly Kale Flo.

This is a powder made by freeze-drying 100% organic curly kale at low temperatures. What interested me was that, as a powder, it was easy to store and carry and could be mixed into drinks or food.

Are the stick packs easy to store and carry?
It comes in individually wrapped stick packs. I found them easy to keep in a desk drawer or carry in a travel bag or gym bag.

Does it mix well in water? How bitter is it?
When I opened a stick, I noticed a deep green color and an aroma that reminded me of fresh vegetables. The powder was light and soft, with fairly fine particles.

I added one packet to 200 ml of water and shook it; it mixed right away without clumping like gel. Whether I made it thinner or stronger, I had no difficulty mixing it. It tasted like a fresh grassy aroma, and for me there was hardly any bitterness strong enough to feel off-putting. It felt smoother than regular kale powder, so it was easier to drink.

Even though I wanted to make sure I ate fresh kale, preparing it every day was not easy. In those moments, the ease of taking out and using this powder, along with its convenient storage, felt like an advantage.

What is it like in warm oatmeal?
I tried adding half a packet to warm oatmeal. When I mixed it in, the color held up well and the aroma did not change much. Beyond drinking it mixed with water, I could also use it as a way to add it to food.

How did I add it to my everyday diet?
I mixed one packet into 200 ml of water in the morning. It was not overly bitter and had little chalkiness, so it was easy to have. It was a convenient format to add before or after exercise, while managing my diet, or on days when I had not managed to eat enough vegetables.

For me, this was closer to a product I could use as a supplement to my diet when it was difficult to prepare fresh vegetables every day. Rather than taking it to treat a particular condition, I used it as one everyday way to make sure I included vegetables.
