These days, even for a single meal, I try to eat a bit healthier and more balanced, so I end up reaching for poke bowls or salads more often. On a weekend morning I was craving something fresh, looked it up, and ended up at Eopcheonri382.

How was the smoked duck poke bowl with brown rice and oriental sauce?

For the smoked duck poke, I picked the brown rice + oriental sauce combo.

The smoked duck, the main ingredient, was piled on generously, and everything else — braised soy egg, cherry tomatoes, garlic flakes, egg strips, jalapeños, lettuce — was well-balanced, so it looked hearty just from the visuals. With the brown rice mixed in, it's not just a salad of vegetables — it was filling enough to be a full meal on its own. The sauce portion is generous, so if you mix it all in it gets too salty — mixing about half, or 2/3, was just right.
Each ingredient has a different texture and none of it is too intense, so you don't get tired of it while eating the whole bowl — I think that's part of the appeal of poke.

Shrimp sandwich at Eopcheonri382: hot shrimp cutlet fried to order
Personally, the shrimp sandwich (₩7,900) at Eopcheonri382 was more satisfying than I expected. Even in the photo you can tell how stuffed it is. Lettuce, tomato, assorted vegetables, and a thick shrimp cutlet are packed in — it was almost hard to fit in one bite! Since the shrimp cutlet is made fresh right after ordering, it was warm, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside 🥹
Final verdict on brunch at Eopcheonri382 in Cheongju
I've been trying to eat healthier lately, and Eopcheonri382's menu let me have health, taste, and fullness all at once, which was very satisfying. The smoked duck poke and shrimp sandwich were both generously packed with ingredients and more filling than expected, and the warm shrimp cutlet with crisp vegetables exceeded my expectations.
