Nowon sushi buffet with weekend waffles and fruit: Kuu Kuu
In short
Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is a spacious sushi and seafood buffet in Nowon, Seoul, within walking distance of Hagye Station. A spacious seafood buffet near Hagye Station
My partner and I are buffet lovers who would rather eat lots of different things, little by little, than just one dish. We especially love seafood, so we go to Kuu Kuu often! Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch is suuuuper spacious, has a huge variety of food, and is always stocked with hot dishes, so we have been enjoying it very happily.
It is within walking distance of Hagye Station on Subway Line 7! It is in the Seoul Oncheon building that all the local residents know!

Parking in the building is free for 2 hours, but the building also has a wedding hall, so it can be busy on weekends and public holidays. I recommend public transportation! If the building parking lot is full, you need to use a nearby paid parking lot separately.
Mon–Fri 11:00–21:30, Sat–Sun 11:00–22:00.

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch prices and dining time
First, the prices! Weekday lunch (based on exiting before 5 PM) is ₩27,900 for adults, middle school students, and high school students, and ₩16,900 for elementary school students (pricing applies from March 1 of the year they enter school). Weekday dinner (based on exiting after 5 PM) is ₩31,900 for adults, middle school students, and high school students, and ₩17,900 for elementary school students. Weekends and public holidays are ₩35,900 for adults, middle school students, and high school students; ₩18,900 for elementary school students; and ₩9,900 for preschool children aged 36 months and over.
Dining time is normally 2 hours, but it is limited to 90 minutes if customers are waiting, so keep that in mind!

Sunday lunch wait times and family gathering spaces
Outside, there are roomy waiting benches and a Catchtable queue system. We arrived at 11:30 AM on Sunday, not long after opening, and could go straight in with no wait. It was full by the time we left, but there still was not a queue.
The wood-and-white interior feels bright and comfortable! It is incredibly spacious at over 300 pyeong.
The interior is divided into various areas, so groups of up to 50, 80, or 300 people can use separate spaces almost like a private rental. Such an appealing feature for family gatherings! Since there are lots of families, there was also a play area for little ones.

From sushi to hot dishes
Time to really start eating. I always make my first round through the sushi, rolls, and gunkan sushi (battleship-style sushi) section. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
The fish portions on the flounder and salmon sushi are bigger than before, so they are thick and fill your mouth. Flounder and salmon sushi are my personal favorites, so I was very happy about that! The shrimp sushi also uses botan shrimp, giving it an even better shrimp flavor.

There are lots of choices in the hot-food section too, and since I like mala, I really enjoyed the mala shrimp.

Fresh salmon sashimi for dinner and weekends
Fresh salmon sashimi has been added too, but it is only available at weekday dinner and on weekends and public holidays. Rather than weekday lunch, I absolutely recommend visiting for dinner, a weekend, or a public holiday and trying the fresh salmon!!!!!!! It is Norwegian fresh salmon sashimi that is not even available at Kuu Kuu Gold branches, so five stars from me!!!!! ★★★★★

The smoked duck has a pleasantly chewy texture and is a weekday dinner, weekend, and public-holiday item; my 17-month-old little one ate so much of it. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. The lamb chops have a tender texture and are available all day!

There are various drinks ready too, so pick whatever suits your taste!

Waffles, fruit, and ice cream too
The desserts are incredibly varied too, and I was so happy that I could dip freshly made warm, crisp waffles straight into the chocolate fondue.

Korean melon, melon, mango, banana, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, watermelon, apple. The fruit selection alone is enormous........... This was the section my 17-month-old little one absolutely demolished! We could fill up on all kinds of fruit that are difficult to prepare at home.

There are so many kinds of cake, tteok (Korean rice cake), and pudding that there is definitely something for every taste!!

Personally, the little bead ice cream was something I had not been able to try on previous lunch visits!!!!!!!! We visited on a weekend this time, but it is now available at weekday lunch too, so you can enjoy the bead ice cream then as well.

Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch has unlimited real draft Terra and Kelly beer, not Filite! Is that not such an amazing deal!!!!!!!!!!! Once again, we left Kuu Kuu Nowon Branch very satisfied!
