On an early weekend evening, I was looking for dinner in Sasang, Busan, and visited Sasang Paldo Jokbal (사상팔도족발). I enjoy onjok (warm jokbal), so I ordered a medium portion that day as well.
Where is Sasang Paldo Jokbal?
The restaurant is on the first floor at 713 Baegyang-daero in Deokpo-dong. I could find it along the main road without going into an alley, and it was easy to spot from the street even on my first visit.

What was the restaurant like on an early weekend evening?
The interior was neatly kept overall. There were quite a few diners even in the early evening on the weekend, and more guests arrived as dinnertime went on. A self-service corner on one side had food and side dishes that customers could help themselves to.
The owner said there tend to be many delivery orders. While I was seated, delivery orders continued to come in.
How much was the medium onjok, and how did it taste?
The medium onjok I ordered that day was ₩30,000. The restaurant states that it uses domestic jokbal boiled the same day.
The onjok was served warm. When I eat jokbal, I care about it not being overly greasy or heavily seasoned, and this onjok had a mild flavor that was easy to eat.
The skin was chewy, and it had a nice texture when eaten with the meat. It was a dinner that suited my preference for warm jokbal.
What else is on the menu besides onjok?
Besides onjok, there are charcoal-grilled spicy jokbal, half-and-half jokbal with both warm and spicy jokbal, chilled jokbal salad, and milmyeon (wheat noodles). I only had the onjok this time, but I would like to order the half-and-half jokbal or milmyeon next time.
