First time at a comic café: how long did I stay at Real Toon Comic Café?
Real Toon Comic Café is a comic café in Misa, Hanam. I walked in around lunchtime and stayed over 5 hours, until dinnertime. I had never been to a comic café before, but a friend went and said the time just flew by. I was curious, and I wanted a relaxing stretch of reading comics after a long while, so I went.
I got so absorbed in reading and resting that suddenly it was evening, haha. Time really did disappear. If you're looking for something indoors or a different kind of date in Misa, Hanam, I recommend Real Toon Comic Café!

Where is Real Toon Comic Café, and what about parking?
Real Toon Comic Café is on the 9th floor of Seongsan Tower, near Misa Station in Hanam, Gyeonggi. It wasn't hard to find, and being close to the station makes it easy to reach.

With all kinds of comics plus OTT streaming, board games and Nintendo, it's a good spot to visit with a friend or as a date. I never got bored staying in one place for so long.
People tend to stay long at comic cafés, so parking can be a worry. We actually stayed over 5 hours, but Real Toon Comic Café offers parking support, so we paid nothing extra.
A black-and-white interior that feels like stepping into a comic
True to the name Real Toon, the inside is decorated as if you've walked into a comic. Comic-flavored touches all around made it fun just to look around.

The space is styled stylishly in black and white.

Nintendo room, TV room, loft room: what are the room types?
Real Toon Comic Café has a variety of rooms: a Nintendo room, an OTT room with a TV, and a two-level room you climb into by ladder. The Nintendo room has a good range of game cartridges, so you can pick the game you want.

There are also rooms with a TV where you can comfortably watch Netflix and other OTT content. It's nice for movies and dramas as well as comics.

The room layouts vary too. Besides regular rooms, there's a two-level space reached by a ladder. It has a cute charm, like stepping into a tiny hideout.

Doesn't it feel just like being inside a comic?!? The interior suits the name Real Toon, and it was fun just to look around.
The rooms are similar in structure, but overall they felt neatly kept. When guests finished and left, staff immediately came in to vacuum and tidy up, which made it even more pleasant to use.

Real Toon Comic Café prices: 5-hour pass ₩14,900
At Real Toon Comic Café I used the 5-hour pass with a drink included for ₩14,900. Compared with other comic cafés, the price felt reasonable.

There was also a Naver review event: write a review and get fries or nachos. You can get peckish while reading or watching movies, so if you want a simple snack, it's worth joining.
The 5-hour pass and the all-day pass differ by only about ₩2,000. Having tried it, the time passed so fast that I wished I had come earlier and bought the all-day pass. I enjoyed it so much that I still feel a bit of regret, ㅠㅠ

First I stored my shoes in the shoe lockers at the entrance, then chose a plan. I worried I'd have to carry the locker key around, but you get it back when you check out, so there was no risk of losing it.
No Japanese manga? Plenty of webtoon books too
Real Toon Comic Café has a wide range: the latest hits, nostalgic comics, manga that anime are based on, and webtoon books. The variety of comics was really impressive.

They also have webtoon books. I don't read Japanese manga, so I was worried, but there were many familiar webtoons, so I could enjoy it comfortably.

New titles seem to arrive regularly. They also take book recommendations, so the comics seem to be updated often.

Board games and amenities
Real Toon Comic Café also has board games, a nice change when you get tired of reading. We were so hooked on comics that we read until our time ran out, but plenty of people in other rooms were playing board games or Nintendo.

Beyond things to do, amenities like fans, blankets and heated warming packs are well stocked too.

So I happily grabbed one of each, and it kept me comfortable the whole time.

Drinks, food, and the Sourcandy they gave us on the way out
The time pass at Real Toon Comic Café includes one drink by default, and we paid extra to switch to a café latte. The coffee tasted good too!

There's a variety of food as well, handy when you get hungry while reading.
On the way out, they also handed us Sourcandy (Saekomdalkom, chewy fruit candy), good for refilling the sugar burned from reading so intensely. Such attention to small details was impressive. Thanks to that, I spent 5 full, fun hours there!!
My first comic café, Real Toon Comic Café: how was it?
It was my first comic café, and I was far more satisfied than expected. There was a wide variety of comics and webtoons, and with Nintendo, board games and OTT too, staying a long time was never boring.
The facilities were kept clean, and with drinks, food and amenities all well prepared, I could spend my time comfortably. If you're looking for things to do near Misa Station in Hanam or a Misa Station date course, I recommend Real Toon Comic Café. It was a lovely indoor place to relax and unwind.
