What is Qurie Kids Café Uijeongbu, the Gosan-dong kids café?
Qurie Kids Café Uijeongbu (큐리키즈카페 의정부점) is a kids café on the 7th floor of GS Plaza in Gosan-dong, Uijeongbu, and you can use it together with the sand-play kids café on the 3rd floor of the same building.

Kids really love kids cafés, so we visit them from time to time. This Gosan-dong spot runs a kids café and sand play side by side, which makes it handy to use both, so I took my child there and want to share how it went.

Easy with a stroller? The entrance and seating
The café is on the 7th floor of GS Plaza and the hallway at the entrance is very wide, so there was plenty of room to leave a stroller or scooter out there. Even if you come on foot pushing a stroller, it felt easy to get in.
Just inside, the shoe racks are right on your right, and a staff member greets you on the left and guides you, so it was easy even on a first visit.
You see the tables right as you walk in, and there are bench-style tables as well as floor-seating tables, so you can pick a seat to suit your child's age and taste.
What play zones does Qurie Kids Café Uijeongbu have?

Ball pit, climbing zone and a toddler-only ball pit
The ball pit at the front connects to climbing, a slide and a fishing corner, so I thought it was great for kids to move around and play on their own.

Besides the regular pit with white balls, there is a toddler-only ball pit with yellow balls further in, so it works well even for very young children.

A big trampoline divided into 4 zones
The trampoline is big too, split into 4 zones in total, so even little ones can use it according to their age. With so many other things to play with, the trampoline wasn't crowded, and it was nice that it was close to the tables.

Hospital play, cars, dinosaurs and fishing
There's hospital play gear, and plenty of kinds of cars too. Seeing so many little boys crowded around the car corner was adorable.

There are also a dinosaur play area and a fishing corner, which my child enjoyed. Each space is well laid out, so it was easy to keep an eye on the kids, which I liked.

Princess zone, makeup corner and career costumes
The dress corner was well done, with colors and designs kids will like. If your child loves princess style, they'll really love it.
The vanity corner was especially pretty. Watching my child sit on the chair, look in the mirror, and do makeup and hair was so cute. It isn't only for girls either: there are career costumes too, so boys can enjoy it just as much.

Kids' toilets, nursing room and other basics
The facilities were clean overall. Since it's a kids-only café, the toilets are kid-sized and reachable right from inside, and the nursing room was tidy too, which I liked.

Hygiene equipment stood out as well: a large humidifier and virus care are in operation, which made it feel more trustworthy to visit.
Meals at Qurie Kids Café Uijeongbu: tonkatsu and udon
We ordered tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) and udon (thick wheat noodle soup). You can just use the kids café, but kids get hungry while playing, so you end up ordering a meal. The menu is varied and the prices aren't too high, so ordering felt easy.

Besides meals there is a wide choice of drinks, so you can order to suit your child's taste. There's also a self-service corner in the middle where you can grab water or pickles yourself, which made things more comfortable during our stay.

The tonkatsu was a generous portion and, above all, really tasty, and it was presented so cutely that it was even more fun to eat.

Udon is something my child absolutely loves, and seeing my child eat it so happily made me very satisfied.

Free hand and foot massagers for parents
There is a hand massager parents can use for free, and you can take it to your seat whenever you like. After giving birth, looking after a baby strains your wrists so much they feel like they're falling apart (?), so it was a real relief for parenting fatigue.

I actually tried the hand massager, and it has adjustable pressure and a heating function, so it was nice to use. Foot massagers are placed at the seats too, so they're worth making use of.

Evening "Yuktoepub" beer event
In the evening the café runs a beer event called Yuktoepub (육퇴펍, a pub for parents after the kids' bedtime), which seems worth making use of. The beer has unlimited refills, and since all outside food is allowed, it felt even easier to use with peace of mind.

Sandcray, the sand-play kids café on the 3rd floor
Sandcray (샌드크레이) is a sand-play-only kids café on the 3rd floor of the same GS Plaza, and it can be used together with Qurie Kids Café through a sand package. With kids' play clothes and fine sand, it was a great place for kids to have fun.
