Back at Lazy Yogurt Seongsu after two months
Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is the Greek yogurt place I first visited two months ago on a trip to Seongsu, and it was a whole new world for me. Now that I'm back in Seongsu after a while, it popped into my head all by itself. My go-back-again spot~
Green leaves have sprouted, so Lazy Yogurt looks even prettier than two months ago. It feels like Bali must look like this~ (I've never been, so who knows)
Lazy Yogurt's yangzhi ganlu menu: what is Greek in Hong Kong?
Lazy Yogurt has put out "Greek in Hong Kong," Greek yogurt topped with yangzhi ganlu (a Hong Kong mango-pomelo-sago dessert). It's a trendy place that turns whatever dessert is in fashion into Greek yogurt right away.
When Dubai chocolate was all the rage, Lazy Yogurt had Dubai chocolate. When spring came and cherry blossom matcha was trending, sure enough, Lazy Yogurt had cherry blossom matcha. These days yangzhi ganlu is the thing, and of course Lazy Yogurt launched a yangzhi ganlu yogurt.
Terrace seats and indoor atmosphere at Lazy Yogurt Seongsu
If you're looking for a great yangzhi ganlu spot in Seongsu, I recommend Lazy Yogurt Seongsu. Plus the terrace is relaxed and pretty~ A breeze comes through and it's shaded, so it was a lovely place to sit.
Eating inside at Lazy Yogurt Seongsu is nice too. It was bright and clean. But lately I somehow like outside, full of green leaves, even more.
Eat in or take away at Lazy Yogurt?
If you eat in at Lazy Yogurt Seongsu, I'd recommend combining several toppings, but if you're taking it home, it seems more economical to take a large tub and add your own toppings.
Yogurt comes in Single, Double, Medium and Large sizes. You can also buy toppings and syrups separately.
Oreo Greek yogurt Medium on sale for ₩9,900
When I visited, Lazy Yogurt Seongsu was running a sale on Oreo Greek yogurt in Medium for ₩9,900. Medium is normally ₩11,300, and I think the Oreo flavor adds about ₩2,000 on top, so ₩9,900 was a shockingly good deal. I was wondering what to take home and spotted it right then.
I thought I'd get one for my younger sibling too, so I bought two Oreo Greek yogurts. I'd planned to buy the yangzhi ganlu Greek yogurt since this is supposedly a top yangzhi ganlu spot in Seongsu, but what kind of person caves in front of a discount… haha
Can Oreo Greek yogurt be a diet meal?
Honestly, Lazy Yogurt's Oreo Greek yogurt is a bit far from diet food. On the plus side, they show nutrition info, calories, and even sugar.
I used to eat Greek yogurt as part of my diet. I only stuck to plain, but once you come to Lazy, the range of flavors is really wide.
The nutrition labeling is nice, but… you have to eat with your eyes closed, sob… Still, better than other snacks ^^
Even from the outside it looked thick and packed with Oreo.
I lugged this Oreo Greek yogurt all the way from Seongsu to Incheon, on purpose.

What does Lazy Yogurt's Oreo Greek yogurt taste like?
Lazy Yogurt's Oreo Greek yogurt is Greek yogurt mixed with Oreo. Oreos are great as cookies, but they get even better when they meet cake or yogurt.
I scooped some into my Greek yogurt bowl. I'd had an all-you-can-eat eel lunch and felt queasy with no appetite by dinner, so I decided to have a light diet meal of Oreo Greek yogurt.
It's Greek yogurt, so let's call it diet food… hahaha
There was a lot of Oreo in it. Mixed with the Greek yogurt, it wasn't crunchy but a rich chocolate flavor. Kind of like that famous Oreo cake? Thinking of it that way, the calories make some sense. Honestly, at this level, I can handle it. It's healthier than Oreo ice cream or Oreo cake, I can keep eating it longer, and it's tasty without being heavy, so it was my taste.
The Oreo part is good and the yogurt part is good too. Lazy Yogurt does plain really well, and it does Oreo really well too. Next time I really want to try the pistachio T_T It feels like a yogurt place that's good at everything.
How I split the Medium over a week
I didn't finish the Oreo Greek yogurt Medium in one go but ate it in small portions over about a week. When I crave something sweet in the evening, eating a little while watching YouTube or Netflix is my little everyday joy.
Whenever I want a sweet dessert with my coffee, I scoop a little into a tiny soy sauce dish. At first I thought the calories were high, but eating a bit at a time over about a week, it actually feels like a fairly healthy snack (personally speaking).
Lazy Yogurt is the hot spot right now as a top yangzhi ganlu place in Seongsu. This time I tried the newly launched Oreo yogurt, and of course it was delicious. With Lazy Yogurt, I just trust it and eat it.
