Seomyeon peanut bread shop: Busan trip snack eaten in the car, Daeshin
In short
Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is a peanut bread bakery on Seojeon-ro in Busanjin, Busan, that bakes its peanut bread fresh in an open space. Drawn in by the nutty smell during a Busan trip, the writer bought 45 pieces of peanut bread (6,000 won) and 150g of peanut butter (4,000 won), then dug into the not-too-sweet, whole-peanut bread the moment they got back in the car. Daeshin Peanut Bread Busan Seomyeon Branch is a good fit for anyone looking for a great-value snack or souvenir from a Busan trip.

While wandering around Seomyeon on my Busan trip, a nutty, toasty smell pulled me into Daeshin Peanut Bread (대신땅콩빵) Busan Seomyeon Branch. I only planned a quick snack, but with the smell of freshly baked peanut bread in the air I just couldn't walk past. The prices were easy on the wallet, so I meant to grab one to eat and ended up taking a generous takeout bag.

What is Daeshin Peanut Bread in Seomyeon like inside?

Just walking past the Seomyeon shop, the toasty smell of baking bread stops you in your tracks!!! They say it's the only place in Korea that mixes its own peanut bread dough!! So the peanut bread I've been eating all this time must have been factory dough 🚰·̫🚰

You can watch the peanut bread being baked right in the open space, so the wait wasn't boring at all, and just seeing it come off the griddle made my mouth water. Takeout customers kept coming, and I quickly saw why it's so popular.

They sell roasted peanuts too! It feels like a real peanut specialty shop!!
Daeshin Peanut Bread menu and prices

The menu prices are neither cheap nor expensive, just reasonable! I wanted to try the peanut latte too, but I'd just had coffee, so I passed (sob).
45 peanut breads for 6,000 won: how do they taste?

Eeek! I bought 45 peanut breads and 150g of peanut butter, and this is how they packed it.

Eating them the second we got in the car, haha

45 peanut breads for ₩6,000
Can you see it? How many whole peanuts are in one peanut bread?! Haha

Daeshin's peanut bread is bite-sized, so it's easy to pick up one at a time, and the outside is baked golden with a subtle crispness. Whole peanuts inside bring out a nutty flavor the more you chew, and it isn't very sweet, so you keep reaching for another>< Best of all, 45 pieces for ₩6,000 makes it a great-value snack you can enjoy without a second thought.

Is the 150g peanut butter for 4,000 won worth buying?
Peanut butter 150g ₩4,000
The Daeshin peanut butter I bought along with it has a rich peanut flavor and went well spread on bread, and it seems great with toast at home. Can you see how thick it is? Real peanut thickness!
Is Daeshin peanut bread a good Busan trip snack?
I stopped by by chance on my Busan trip, and Daeshin was a really satisfying travel snack!!! Freshly baked peanut bread is even better warm, and as iced peanut bread it's insanely good too!! Even cooled, the nutty flavor holds up, so it's great to eat on the move. I'd recommend it for gifts or for a simple snack at your accommodation.
