Bucheon men's hair salon for an as perm: Levia Hair

I visited Levia Hair Bucheon Branch (르비아 헤어 부천점) with my husband, who had been growing out hair he had previously cut very short. He wanted to tidy up the hair that had become shaggy while growing it out and get a perm.

What is the waiting area like?

The interior was neat and comfortable. Trees were visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows, so I thought waiting during a long appointment would feel less stuffy.

Why choose an as perm for hair that is still growing out?

We first told the stylist we had booked what style he wanted. After checking his hair length and condition, we decided on an as perm. His hair was still a little too short for a stronger curly perm, so we agreed to tidy it with a cut first and proceed with an as perm while keeping a future perm in mind.

Before the appointment, his growing hair looked untidy and shaggy overall.

Did the cut reflect the requested length well?

They started with a shampoo before the cut and perm. My husband enjoyed the refreshing shampoo, then began the haircut.

My husband is particular about the length of his sideburns. They trimmed them well according to his request—not too short or too long—so he was happy from the haircut onward.

They also prepared drinks and snacks while we waited. Besides coffee, there were options including juice and flower tea; I chose iced tea, and my husband chose kombucha.

What was the order of the as perm process?

After the cut, the perm began. They applied the solution carefully, and I got the impression that the process moved quickly because their hands worked fast.

My husband even dozed off midway through because the atmosphere was comfortable. They carefully wrapped the back and sides of his hair as well.

Once they had finished arranging his hair, it underwent heat treatment for eight minutes. They told him to let them know if it felt hot or uncomfortable.

After the heat treatment, they carried out the neutralizing step. My husband said he was comfortable throughout the appointment.

Were the finished as perm and styling instructions satisfying?

As they finished, they explained how to dry his hair to achieve the style he wanted. I liked that they gave detailed guidance on where to begin drying and which direction to dry it.

Compared with how shaggy his hair looked before the appointment, the difference after it was tidied up was noticeable. Both my husband and I were pleased with the finished as perm, and we wanted to return.
