Bucheon pub with bulgogi tacos and cream roll lasagna: People & Peoples

In short

People & Peoples is a pub near Sangdong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi, where I ordered bulgogi tacos with fruit salad, cream roll lasagna, and a Midori Sour. Both dishes were generously portioned; the fruit salad worked especially well with the tacos, though the tacos were already spicy before adding salsa.

Near Sangdong Station in Bucheon, I had bulgogi tacos with fruit salad and cream roll lasagna at People & Peoples (피플앤피플즈). Both dishes were generously portioned, and I especially remembered the combination of topping the tacos with the fruit salad myself.

The cream roll lasagna was also generously filled with sauce and ingredients, so it felt substantial enough for a full meal.

Where is People & Peoples, and is parking available?

The restaurant is on the first floor of Gukcheon Building near Sangdong Station. I visited right when it opened.

According to the original post, it is open daily from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM the following day. You can use the Gukcheon Building parking lot, and parking vouchers are available from the restaurant for ₩1,000 per hour. Corkage was listed as paid.

What were the seating and interior like?

The seating visible right after entering gave both the feeling of outdoor patio dining and the coziness of being indoors.

The interior lighting was soft. Because I visited at opening time, I could take photos of the space from the angles I wanted.

There was also an area for making cocktails and highballs.

What did I order, and how much did it cost?

The cream roll lasagna was ₩23,000, and the bulgogi tacos with fruit salad were ₩25,000. For a cocktail, I ordered a Midori Sour for ₩9,000.

How were the portion and texture of the cream roll lasagna?

The portion of the cream roll lasagna caught my eye as soon as it arrived. It came with plenty of cream sauce, making it filling even as a drinking snack.

I used the Eiffel Tower-shaped scissors that came with it to cut it into bite-sized pieces.

The outer pasta sheets and cheese were baked crisp, while the wide, thick noodles were filled with meat and cheese.

Each bite brought together the chewy noodles, the savory flavor of beef, and cheese. There was plenty of cream sauce, so I spooned it generously over the cut lasagna.

What did the Midori Sour taste like?

The color of the Midori Sour caught my eye first. It had a rich, sweet melon flavor, which went well with the spicy tacos.

What comes with the bulgogi tacos?

The bulgogi tacos with fruit salad are made with spicy stir-fried Korean pork bulgogi, served with fruit and salad. When I had them, they included Shine Muscat grapes, cherry tomatoes, banana, apple, pineapple, and lettuce.

The variety of fruit made the dish refreshing, and the ingredients were generously portioned.

Adding the salsa that came with it made the heat stronger. Adding pickles also brought out more flavor.

How do you eat the tacos, and how can you adjust the spice?

I put on a disposable glove, laid one taco flat on the plate, and topped it with fruit salad to my taste. Then I added salsa and pickles.

The tacos were spicy even without extra sauce. If you are sensitive to spice, it would be better to taste a little salsa first before adding it. I liked the combination of the warm, crisp tacos with the sweet-tart fruit salad.

Can you pack leftover food to go?

They said leftover food can be packed in a paper box. Both the tacos and lasagna I had were generously portioned, so it is a place I would think of when looking for substantial drinking snacks. The owner was also kind.
