Gyodae date café: strawberry latte, 3 warmed pastries — Mini Male

I was in Seoul and stopped by Mini Male Coffee Roaster Gyodae Court Branch (미니말레 커피뢰스터 교대법원점) near Gyodae Station for a coffee! From the signature Helsinki Latte to the desserts, everything was so good and I was super happy haha. They warmed up the bread for us, so it was seriously, so so delicious 🤍 Here's my Mini Male review, the dessert café near Gyodae Station. Let's go~! ><

Mini Male Gyodae Court Branch: location and opening hours

Mini Male Coffee Roaster Gyodae Court Branch is a café at 15 Seocho-daero 51-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 1st floor, close to Exit 6 of Gyodae Station. It's open 08:00–22:00 on weekdays (last order 21:40) and 09:00–19:00 on weekends and holidays (last order 18:40). There's no parking, but takeout and delivery are available.

It was also a perfect spot for a café after eating around Gyodae!

Looks so neat and clean from the outside ✨ With the big windows and black signboard, you can spot it from far away.

What's the atmosphere like at Mini Male?

The café has outdoor seats in front of the entrance and a black-and-gray interior. When the weather is nice like these days, I bet it would be great to have your coffee outside 🤍

Inside, it's all black and gray and so clean ✨ The big windows make it bright, and it had exactly that modern feel!

Menu and how to order

The drink menu runs from coffee to lattes, milk tea and ades, and you order at the kiosk, easy peasy ෆ

And this is where my eyes went wild... hehe. Cookies, salt bread, egg tarts, financiers, a whole lot of desserts to have with coffee 🤍

What we ordered: 2 lattes and 3 breads

• Handmade baton financier apple crumble
• Salt bread
• Egg tart

We came for coffee, but somehow there were more desserts haha. What I liked about Mini Male is that they warmed up all the bread for us!! It may not seem like a big deal, but eating it hot makes it so much tastier, honestly T_T

How does Mini Male's signature Helsinki Latte taste?

The Helsinki Latte is Mini Male's signature menu, so it was the one I was looking forward to most. I thought I absolutely had to try it~

One sip and it wasn't a watery latte that only tastes like milk. It was thick and rich, totally my taste 🤎 Nutty, smooth, and the coffee flavor comes through strongly too, so if you like a rich latte like me, give the Helsinki Latte a try!!

The strawberry latte my boyfriend picked

The strawberry latte didn't taste like sugary strawberry syrup; you could really taste the fruit juice. I tried a sip of what my boyfriend ordered and it was so good!! Honestly I stole a sip with no expectations and ended up stealing more of it than he did! The strawberry latte was insanely good too T_T🤍

Three warmed breads at Mini Male

Egg tart

Mini Male's egg tart came out piping hot and it was crazy good!! Now it's bread time 🥐 The filling is soft and the outside is crispy, so the texture was great too~ Who could resist a warm egg tart... 🤍

Handmade baton financier apple crumble

The handmade baton financier apple crumble is a long baton shape, so it already looked a bit different from a regular financier (small almond butter cake). I ate it after inhaling the egg tart, and being an apple crumble, it was sweet with a nice chewy texture here and there. Sooo good!

Salt bread

The moment I got Mini Male's salt bread, a nutty buttery smell hit me 🥐 Crispy outside, quite moist inside, and the saltiness was just right, the kind you keep reaching for!

Would I go back to Mini Male Gyodae Court Branch?

I went in for coffee and ended up eating desserts too at Mini Male Gyodae Court Branch 🤍 The Helsinki Latte was totally my taste, so next time I'm around Gyodae I'll go again haha. Had a great time with the coffee and bread~ ><
