The bakery items were tasty and the coffee was decent too :) On top of that, the space itself was huge, so it was comfortable and relaxing to enjoy dessert there. Flowerpot Cafe is a large café in Gojan-dong, Ansan, with lots of tables. I didn't realize it was this big, but there really were a ton of tables and plenty of space. We visited late, but even when a group of customers came in after us, they settled in comfortably — it seemed like a great spot for a gathering. I worried it might get noisy once the group arrived, but the space itself was so large that it wasn't uncomfortable at all.

Flowerpot in Gojan-dong is also known as a dessert bakery café, but since we visited around 8pm, a lot of items were already sold out — kind of sad 💦 That said, plates, knives, and forks were all set out for self-service, which was convenient. There were still small amounts of scones, croissants, and pound cake left. Flowerpot Cafe in Gojan-dong, Ansan also sells bingsu (shaved ice dessert).

How the brownie and garlic rusk tasted

We ordered a sweet brownie, a crispy garlic rusk, an Americano, and an iced vanilla latte.

The brownie was pretty big! The outside was coated with what looked like peanuts or other nuts along with chocolate. Rich choco... exciting. Big and generous, just what you'd expect from a dessert hotspot.

Once sliced, it was packed dense with chocolate. One bite and my sugar levels were fully recharged haha. The chocolate seemed like a higher-quality kind — not overly sweet, more on the bitter side, so it never got sickly.

The dessert that caught my eye right away with its chocolate-loaded look 🍫 The outside was a sweet, crisp chocolate coating and the inside was moist with a rich chocolate flavor, making it perfect to pair with coffee. If you like chocolate, it's worth trying at least once 🤎

We also tried the garlic rusk, and the crispy texture was really good! 🧄🥖 The outside was baked golden and crunchy, and the more I chewed, the more I got a savory, subtle garlic aroma that kept me reaching for more. It wasn't too sweet or strong, just clean and plain, which made it great as a snack too 🤎
