In short
Café Ohkam is a handmade dessert café in Gwangjin, Seoul, with a 1st floor, 2nd floor and rooftop, a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Konkuk Univ. Station. After a good first visit, the blogger returned on a weekday afternoon for the mango fruit sando, packed with large pieces of fresh mango, and an Americano. The less sweet, tangy yogurt cream with fresh mango stood out. Café Ohkam is worth recommending for seasonal summer mango desserts in a relaxed setting.

Today's pick is a café near Konkuk Univ. Station: Café Ohkam (카페 오캄). True to its name, OKLM, which means "calm" and "quiet," it has cute, comfortable interiors and delicious desserts for a relaxed time. I visited once when I came to Konkuk Univ. to hang out and was really happy with it, so this time I came back!
How to get to Café Ohkam, and parking

Café Ohkam is a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Konkuk Univ. Station. It's easy to reach, and with good restaurants and things to do all around, it works well for friends or as a date spot.

For parking, the nearby Gana parking lot is convenient, and the fee is said to be ₩2,000 for 30 minutes and ₩4,000 for 1 hour.
What's the atmosphere inside Café Ohkam like?
Café Ohkam is a big café with a 1st floor, a 2nd floor and a rooftop. The ceilings are high and the interior is hip, so the mood is really great.
There were customers on the 1st floor, so I couldn't photograph all of it, but it has a relaxed feel. The restrooms are separate for men and women, and there's a spot to charge your phone, so you can tell they thought about helping people stay comfortably.

Handmade desserts and summer mango menu
Above all, Café Ohkam makes everything by hand: cakes, cookies, kaymak (clotted cream), bingsu (shaved ice), tiramisu and more. They use seasonal fruit for a different menu each season, and since it's summer, the display was full of desserts made with fresh, sweet and tangy mango. They even had mango bingsu!

Fresh mango cake, mango fruit sando, mascarpone tiramisu, Basque cheesecake and more! Not only pretty to look at, but a dessert spot that tastes great too.

Café Ohkam menu and popular desserts

This is the menu at Café Ohkam. Besides the best sellers (brûlée Einspänner, Melos crumble latte and basil tomato ade), there's a wide range of coffee, tea, ades and lattes.

The fresh mango bingsu, kaymak and French toast also looked very popular. They're all handmade in the shop, so skipping them felt like a shame. Haha

Lots of people seem to order the mango bingsu. Mangoes are so good these days, so next time I come with a friend I'm definitely ordering it! Café Ohkam's fresh mango bingsu is even available for takeout.

Receipt-review cat cookie and the café cat
Café Ohkam also has a receipt review event, and the gift is a super cute cat cookie! By the way, there's a cat at Café Ohkam that's even cuter than the cookie. Haha If you're lucky, you might meet it! (It's asleep a lot of the time. Haha)

The 2nd-floor window seats and rooftop
This is the 2nd floor of Café Ohkam. The big windows make it such a lovely space.

In the sweltering summer, a café with cool, pretty interiors and tasty desserts is basically a resort! It's such a hot spot in Konkuk Univ. that customers kept coming even on a weekday afternoon. Go up one more floor and there's a rooftop too.
How were the mango fruit sando and Americano?

What I ordered at Café Ohkam was the fruit sando and an Americano.

I'd been craving a fruit sando lately, and this one has such big, beautiful fresh mango in it!

Café Ohkam's Americano was really fresh and clean-tasting. Recharging on caffeine while eating a sweet dessert made me so happy. >.<

The mango sando, cute to look at, gives you big pieces of mango, yogurt cream and the soft texture of the bread. It went really well with the clean Americano. If you're looking for a tasty seasonal summer fruit dessert, I recommend Café Ohkam, a fruit dessert spot in Konkuk Univ.

The moment I cut into it, I was amazed: it was fluffy, with generously big pieces of mango packed in.

A mango spot that makes me want it again just from the photos! The yellow, ripe mango was fresh and not mushy, and the tangy yogurt cream paired with it so, so well. The yogurt cream is less sweet and fresher than whipped cream, and with a mouthful of mango it put me in a good mood right away. A great mango dessert spot.
Café Ohkam near Konkuk Univ. Station: I recommend it as a pretty dessert spot where you can spend a relaxing time!
