Dangjin café with private parking, Mont Blanc brunch: MIMI Coffee Mill

It was one of those weekends right after ipchu (start of autumn) when the temperature felt like it had dropped, even if it was probably just my imagination. Too restless to waste the weekend, my friend and I heard there was a café near Ami Art Museum with a great cream latte, so we went for a drive. Dangjin's café hotspot, "MIMI Coffee Mill."

Where is MIMI Coffee Mill? A drive stop near Ami Art Museum
Nothing too special about the exterior, but for some reason it gave off a comfortable feeling. The roads leading here from downtown Dangjin are quiet and relaxed, so it's a nice spot to visit as part of a drive.
Various banners are visible at the entrance. Apparently MIMI Coffee Mill only uses beans grown in Dangjin. It's also listed as a partner of the 1388 Youth Support Group and the Chungcheongnam-do Out-of-School Youth Center. And the café is run by the director of a Dangjin barista academy, haha.
Parking at MIMI Coffee Mill: a private lot out front
Honestly... one of the biggest worries wherever you go is parking!
Visiting a café is great and all, but when you're driving I always end up worrying about whether there's somewhere to park.
MIMI Coffee Mill has its own private lot right in front, so even guests arriving by car can park and use the café with ease.
Inside MIMI Coffee Mill: tables for two up to six
The interior was spacious and comfortable. Basic-toned interior with brown chairs and tables scattered throughout as accents! With 2-person, 4-person, and 6-person tables and more, all kinds of groups — couples, friends, families — seemed to be visiting 😃😃
Besides coffee, they also sell sandwiches, macarons, kkeurungji (crispy scorched rice snacks), cookies, and other various desserts.
They also sell ice cream made with Dangjin sundubu (soft tofu) and sweet potato 💕 Truly, they have everything 🤗🤗
MIMI Coffee Mill was apparently selected as an excellent company in the 2024 Korea Brand Consumer Evaluation ~~~~👍👍 Wow,,,, impressive,, made me trust it even more and look forward to the taste.

The coffee and pastries we ordered arrived. Since we basically came to have coffee as a meal, we ordered a generous spread of bread and drinks,,,, it looked seriously filling just to look at 😁
MIMI cream latte, the signature drink with black sesame
MIMI Coffee Mill's signature MIMI cream latte 💕 Rich espresso topped with soft, thick, sweet cream and black sesame powder. The cream was much heavier than it looked, so the espresso didn't quite make it into my mouth all at once 😂
You have to take a bigger gulp than you'd expect to drink the espresso and cream together, haha.
Cream lattes usually get sickly sweet fast, but the nutty black sesame made it more unique and kept it from feeling too much!!! Not long ago I had an amazing black sesame latte at Toetmaru in Gangneung... genuinely one of the best coffees of my life... and this was similarly delicious 😊😊
No wonder,,,, they've sold 80,000 cups of the MIMI cream latte ㅠㅠㅠ Of course it couldn't be anything but delicious.

The monblanc we had for brunch 🍞❤️ Much bigger than expected!!
Crisp outside, soft inside~~ Crunchy exterior with a soft inside that goes down easily without getting too much!!! Maybe I was just hungry ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ but even though the portion was huge and I didn't finish it, I was already full 🤥
The ham cheese sandwich~~ layers of cheese and ham packed between the bread. Wow,,,, there's no way this isn't delicious??? Feels like the perfect sandwich for brunch 🥪🍞
What does the Dangjin soybean sundubu ice cream taste like?
Dangjin soybean sundubu ice cream 🍦 Made with Dangjin soybeans, apparently. Ice cream made from a specialty product grown in the region I live in — I was curious what it would taste like, haha. You eat it with the toppings that come on top 🙂 Puffed rice? And soybean powder?? Toppings like that 😍
The ice cream itself has a nutty flavor, and eating it with the soybean powder made it even nuttier. Best of all~~ the ice cream wasn't overwhelmingly sweet.
It's been a while since I visited a café in Dangjin with such a great atmosphere and great taste, and I feel truly healed after the visit~~ Definitely coming back again.
