Songpa Station noodle restaurant, two bowls shared: Cocker Noodle Two
In short
Cocker Noodle Two is a chicken broth noodle restaurant on Songridan-gil in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Two diners shared the 14,000 won chicken thigh noodles and the 12,000 won chicken char siu bibim noodles, both ordered with thin noodles: the broth simmered from Korean beef bones and chicken bones tasted clean and light, while the bibim sauce was sweet and tangy like jjolmyeon sauce. With plenty of toppings and generous noodle portions, Cocker Noodle Two is an easy pick for a good-value lunch.

What the Cocker Noodle Two dining room and seating are like
The interior of Cocker Noodle Two has an antique feel, with seating for 2, 4, and even 6, so you can eat comfortably without stress. The tables are also spaced generously, so walking through wasn't much of an issue at all!

Soft lighting scattered around the space really brought out the mood of Cocker Noodle Two. (Can a restaurant... a noodle shop... really have this much atmosphere, ㅠㅠ)

The chicken?? illustrations on the wall were so cute haha

On the wall by the entrance they share the free wifi password, so keep that in mind if you need it. And,,, tissue is stocked for anyone who needs to use the restroom.

How to order at the table kiosk and what's on the menu
Each table has its own kiosk, so you can pick your menu and order and pay right there.

Most of the menu revolves around chicken thighs. From the mains to the sides, chicken shows up everywhere. It was just after Malbok (the last of Korea's three dog days), so eating chicken noodles instead of samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) for a health boost isn't a bad idea either, hahaha,,,
- Chicken thigh noodles ₩14,000
- Chicken char siu bibim noodles ₩12,000
We ordered the chicken thigh noodles and the bibim noodles. Since eating two soupy dishes would get boring, we picked different menus to share~~ And apparently the noodles come in thin or thick options. We went with thin noodles!! hahaha
Chicken thigh noodles, 14,000 won: a whole thigh in the bowl

Here it is: the chicken thigh noodles. A whole chicken thigh, literally the whole thing, sits right in there.

You could see a really wide variety of toppings too — garnish, chamnamul (mountain herb), sukju namul (mung bean sprouts), wood ear mushrooms, quail eggs, finely chopped scallions, and more.

The noodles were hidden under the toppings so you couldn't see much, but there was quite a lot of noodle too 👍🫧

Apparently the broth for Cocker Noodle Two's chicken thigh noodles is made by simmering Korean beef bone and chicken bone together, haha. No wonder the broth felt light and clean~ Among the various toppings, the herbs and garnish blended in with a fragrant aroma, so I also felt the chicken's usual gamey smell was less noticeable. You can eat the chicken thigh together with the noodles, but dipping it in the sauce is really delicious too.

Chicken char siu bibim noodles, 12,000 won: how does the sauce taste?
This is the chicken char siu bibim noodles~~ Unlike the chicken thigh noodles, this is a bibim (mixed, sauced) noodle dish with char siu instead of chicken thigh. The sauce tastes similar to jjolmyeon (chewy cold noodle) sauce, haha. This dish also comes loaded with various toppings!!! Garnish, chamnamul, wood ear mushrooms, quail eggs, sukju namul, chopped scallions, and on and on — the love for toppings is generous here ❤️💕

The toppings are varied and the noodle portion is really, really generous~ And while the bibim sauce was tangy-sweet, it wasn't overpowering — the kind of flavor you keep wanting to eat.

The char siu topping paired well with it too, in its own way.
Is Cocker Noodle Two worth it? Final verdict
The broth made from Korean beef bone and chicken bone was rich and deep, so you never got tired of it — totally good good. Above all, the toppings are so varied and generous that it's hard to find a better budget-friendly meal than this!!
