Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch is a third-generation, old-style pork cutlet restaurant on the 2nd floor of Jeil Punggyeongchae Centum in Millak-dong, Uijeongbu. On a weekend lunch with her boyfriend, the writer ordered the 2-person set no. 6 of Yangchonri pork cutlet, fire-grilled jjukkumi (baby octopus) rice bowl and bibim guksu (spicy mixed noodles), and the smoky octopus bowl impressed most. For two people who want pork cutlet, octopus and bibim noodles in one lunch, set no. 6 at Yangchonri Donkaseu Millak Branch is a good fit.

Jongga Mandu (종가만두) is a mandu (Korean dumpling) hot pot restaurant on Supyo-ro in Jongno, Seoul, near Jongno 3-ga Station. After finishing wedding preparations in Jongno, the writer stopped at Jongga Mandu for the clear mandu hot pot and enjoyed the light, savory seafood broth, the packed handmade dumplings and the kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) to finish. For a filling meal that isn't too spicy or heavy, Jongga Mandu's clear mandu hot pot is a good fit.
