What kind of café is Doasis in Yangju?
Doasis is a huge 2,000-pyeong café in Yangju, a renovated bathhouse that has gone viral on social media. This is already my Nth visit. It's great for big family outings, so even this giant space is packed on weekends :)
As a large bakery café, it has a wide range of breads, and more than 300 stylish palm trees brought in from Jeju make it feel like a botanical garden!

How to get to Doasis from Deokjeong Station, and parking
Doasis is a 5-minute walk from Deokjeong Station, the terminus of GTX-C, so you can easily get here without a car. You've probably seen plenty of big bakery cafés on the outskirts of the city, but Doasis has great access~ The parking lot is sized to match, with room for up to 140 cars, and it's free.

At Doasis, a botanical café where you can really unwind, you can enjoy brunch, coffee and bakery items, plus pizza with beer, pasta, salads and more.

Doasis 2nd-floor bakery: 30 minutes just to pick bread
The 2nd-floor lobby of Doasis is full of delicious breads. There's so much I want to try that just choosing takes about 30 minutes, haha

Lots of families and groups come for brunch like pizza, and I like that food comes out fairly fast after ordering. The 2nd and 3rd floors are open to use, and with large tables, I hear people even book it for small weddings and group events.
Is Doasis dog-friendly? How the 4th-floor pet space works
Doasis has a separate space for pets on the 4th floor. If you bring a dog, go straight up to the 4th floor, put your dog in the fenced area, then go down to the 2nd floor to order. It had appeared since my last visit, so I thought, next time I'll come with my dog, haha

- Weekends 12:00 - 20:00 (staff on site)

A regular's order at Doasis: 5 breads and 3 coffees
This time I chose 5 breads and 3 coffees at Doasis. It's a bakery hotspot with over 50 kinds of bread, so I had no choice but to pick a lot.... hahaha
- Original Vienna
- Americano (iced)
- Decaf americano (hot)
- Basil tomato
- Roe baguette (myeongran baguette)
- Blueberry brioche
- Corn campagne
- Garlic baguette

Ahh~~ quite a generous haul, right? It's a bakery and brunch hotspot, so anyone who's eaten at Doasis knows this much is basic! haha

Doasis seating: good for groups, families and kids?
Every seating area at Doasis has its own character, and since the bathhouse feel was kept in the renovation, it's even more distinctive~

There are seats for 2 up to 40 people, floor seating for families with kids, and even a nursing room, so you can spend a whole day here in comfort~!
At the self-service bar you can freely use cutlery and takeout packaging.

What makes the bread at Doasis special
To maximize the flavor of its bread, Doasis reportedly insists on top-grade blends of butter, flour and more. They also donate bread to elderly people living alone, so how could you not try the bread at Doasis?!!

If you're wondering where to go for a drive or outing near Seoul in this weather, try Doasis, the big bakery café in Yangju! I've been a regular for years, so I really hope you'll visit once!
