Upper and Under is a café near Sinnonhyeon Station that feels warm and cozy the moment you walk in. It passed my first test right away. The stylish interior really stands out on the Sinnonhyeon café street, and it was great for taking photos.

Every light and every piece of furniture is so refined that it's already famous among people hunting for dessert cafés in Gangnam.

It's good for a cozy chat with a friend, and just as comfortable for spending a quiet, relaxed time alone, so I think I'll be coming back often.

Upper and Under has three floors, from the basement up to the 2nd floor, so there's plenty of seating and tables turn over quickly. I got a seat right away with no waiting, haha.

Still, there may be a wait at the hot times on Fridays and Saturdays, so it'd be better to go early!!

This day I picked a combo of lemon cake that looks zesty just by looking at it, a cool iced tea, and a peach Earl Grey with a lovely aroma!

How do the iced tea and peach Earl Grey taste?

On a sweltering afternoon, one sip of the iced tea and peach Earl Grey at Upper and Under took my thirst away. The peach Earl Grey especially blends the signature Earl Grey aroma with the sweetness of peach, and I immediately understood why this café near Gangnam Station is famous as a dessert hotspot.

The iced tea was also stronger and sweeter than iced teas I've had before, and the peach Earl Grey had finely chopped peaches packed along the bottom, so good, haha.
