Osan Korean restaurant late lunch: pork and braised pollack, Bomseol
Bomseol Main Branch (봄설 본점) is a hanjeongsik (Korean set meal) restaurant on Oesammi-ro in Osan, Gyeonggi, close to Dongtan. Near home and already visited several times for family meals, Bomseol Main Branch served the writer a late lunch of the Bomseol Table for 2, with spicy stir-fried pork and braised dried pollack as mains, plus self-serve barley bibimbap, fried eggplant, japchae (glass noodles), stone-pot rice with sungnyung (scorched-rice tea) and a dessert of sujeonggwa, coffee and puffed corn. Verdict: Bomseol Main Branch is great value and a recommended Dongtan-area Korean restaurant for a family meal with parents or a lunch gathering.
