You know those times near Suwon Station when you want a cup of coffee and a sweet dessert too? This time I visited Tteum Café by Oneplay, a café near Suwon Station.

It's a clean, spacious place with unusual coffee tools and pretty teacups, so just looking around was fun. We ordered a plain croffle (croissant waffle), an iced café latte and a Seoul blend Americano.

The croffle looked so tempting that I had to take photos first, haha.

What is the atmosphere like inside Tteum Café Suwon Station?
It's a clean, spacious café in light gray tones with wooden chairs and black tables. From outside, the black awning and simple logo stand out, and the glass front lets you see inside, so it felt modern even before we walked in.
Overall the light gray tones, wooden chairs and black tables blended together naturally.

Green plants here and there soften what could otherwise feel a bit cold. There are also seats by the window, which looked nice for sipping coffee while looking outside.

If you prefer a clean space over a busy interior, this is a café near Suwon Station worth a look.
Floral and gold-rimmed teacups and unusual coffee tools at the counter
The first thing that caught my eye at Tteum Café Suwon Station was the teacups displayed at the counter. Next to them were coffee tools and a spot where you can smell the coffee beans.

The designs really vary, from floral cups to pastel ones. Some have gold rims, so it felt like a little exhibition. Beside them were coffee tools in unusual shapes and a place to smell the beans.

Even before drinking any coffee, browsing these little items was fun.
Suwon Station croffle: how does the plain croffle come out?
The plain croffle (₩9,900) at Tteum Café Suwon Station may be called plain, but it comes with plenty of cream on top and syrup on the side. This was the dessert we ordered.

The cream is topped with sliced almonds and a little mint leaf, so it looked quite pretty. The golden-brown grid pattern of the croffle looked delicious.
Drizzling the syrup over it added shine and made it look even sweeter. I liked that you can adjust to your taste, eating it with the cream or adding syrup.

If you're looking for a croffle near Suwon Station, this is a nice dessert to order with coffee.
Iced café latte and Seoul blend Americano
With the croffle we had an iced café latte and a Seoul blend Americano. The iced café latte came in a clear glass.

The latte was a soft beige, and its color went nicely with the croffle on the table. The coffee was the Seoul blend Americano.

Which Americano blends can you choose from?
At Tteum Café Suwon Station you can choose the blend for your Americano. The menu lists the Milano blend, Kyoto blend and Seoul blend, and apparently the Seoul blend uses beans roasted by a roaster who placed second in a world championship~~ I was impressed that it came in a glass server with a separate cup.

You pour the coffee into a tall glass of ice, which felt different from the Americano I usually drink.
Tteum Café by Oneplay, a Suwon Station dessert café: overall review
Tteum Café by Oneplay was a Suwon Station café where you can enjoy coffee and dessert in a clean, spacious space.

What stuck with me personally were the variety of teacups on display, the unusual coffee tools and the plain croffle with its generous cream. The menu has many kinds of coffee, and being able to pick a blend is a feature too. Besides croffles there are also financiers, cakes and more, and I wanted to try them all~~

Good to know before you visit
The Americano at Tteum Café Suwon Station isn't a regular Americano but a drip coffee, so the coffee is on the pricier side. It's worth checking the menu before you visit.
