Skin condition is always a little nerve-wracking before an important event, so this time I went to get both my face and décolleté taken care of in one go at Clermont Monde, a skin care salon in Cheongdam!

Instead of running through a fixed course the same way every time, they actually adjusted the treatment based on how my body felt that day..! The big windows made it feel cozy, and the space itself was pretty quiet, which made it easy to relax during the treatment. Sunlight poured right in, giving the whole esthetic salon a nice atmosphere.

First you change into a gown, and they had everything ready — saline solution for contacts, a wash area, even mouthwash. The lockers were generous too, so having a lot of luggage wasn't really a problem!

With these little details taken care of, it really felt like a convenient place to visit before a wedding or photo shoot.

The treatment took place in a private room! Wearing just a gown could get chilly, but the bed itself was heated, so I felt comfortable lying down the whole time. Doesn't seem like it'd be an issue even in winter~

I went with the ₩165,000 face care course! It started with cleansing, then moved into skin texture care, sebum care, and finally a hydrating pack.

The weather's been getting pretty warm lately so sebum and oil have been no joke, but they cleared it all out neatly and finished with a cooling pack! I've been to a lot of esthetic salons over the years, and the hand techniques here were something else.

Neck and shoulder focused upper body care, adjusted on the day

It was originally meant to be a face-focused course, but since my shoulders tend to round forward from sitting at a desk all day, they adjusted things that day to put more emphasis on upper body care — neck, shoulders, and arms.
