The weather has been so humid lately that my lashes droop even after I use a curler. So I headed to Iyo Shop, a lash lift specialist near Gongdeok Station, for a summer-ready lash lift 😇 It's close to the station, and my lashes lifted up so neatly that I was really happy with it :-)

If you go up the outdoor stairs on the outside of the Park Palace 2 building, you can reach Iyo Shop directly. I'd recommend skipping the inside of the shopping complex and using the metal stairs outside.

What is the atmosphere inside Iyo Shop?
The inside of Iyo Shop is tidy and fairly spacious for a lash salon. On one side there's a table, as in the photo, for consultations or waiting.
There's a mirror next to the table and it's decorated with neat little props. The whole shop felt tidy and clean.
A warm bed and soft music
The treatment bed is on one side of Iyo Shop. The bed was warm underneath, so I got drowsy right away. The music was soft too, and since I came straight from work, it felt like resting while getting my lash lift.

What I got was the nourishing + black tint lift, which includes black tinting, in a natural C-curl, and it cost ₩50,000. I chose it to reduce damage to my lashes and make my eyes look sharper!
The owner took photos of my eyes from the front and the side and examined them very carefully. Besides lash lifts, Iyo Shop also does lash extensions. On Instagram, I saw lots of reviews saying the extensions hold up well too.

Treatment time and mood: a deep nap with no small talk
The lash lift at Iyo Shop finished in a little under an hour. I left my things on the hanger and the lift started in earnest.
The owner has quick, delicate hands, so I could rest comfortably the whole time. She seems to be an introvert (an "I" type) too, with no unnecessary chatter throughout, so I came away having had a great nap😴
What's the before and after of the nourishing + black tint C-curl lift?
After the nourishing + black tint C-curl lift, my limp-looking eyes became clearly sharper. Before the treatment my eyes looked weak and bland.
Afterwards, such sharp eyes 🥺 My lashes lifted up so prettily. It was my first black tint lift, and it definitely feels like it defines the eyes more than a regular lift.
She gathered my lashes properly, strand by strand. Even after the treatment my eyes felt comfortable, with no stinging or irritation.
