After lunch in Seongsu, we went looking for a second stop for dessert and ended up at Notldun, a great dessert café near Ttukseom. It's known for petit gâteau, those elegant, finely made desserts, and the sweets here were really refined and delicious :-)

Notldun is a 9-minute walk from Exit 8 of Ttukseom Station, close to Seoulsup.

The inside is on the small side, with white-toned decor that feels clean and minimal.

One side is a big window and it's on the 2nd floor, so you can relax while looking out at the Seoulsup alleys. I loved that!

The kitchen is open, so you can watch the desserts being made. The showcase is full of cute, pretty desserts.

How does Notldun's Pistachio Festival taste? (₩13,000)

True to its name, Notldun's Pistachio Festival is a mousse cake where every layer, the mousse, the sponge and the cream, is pure pistachio. It's also perfectly round and so pretty 😖

There's a pistachio spread inside, so it tastes rich and luxurious, like a dujjonku (Dubai-style chewy cookie). The mousse is slightly springy yet soft, with a thin cake sponge underneath, and the mousse, spread and sponge were balanced so well that it was incredibly tasty. It's small, but you can feel the huge care in both the flavor and the looks, and I was happy the whole time I ate it🙌

What is the Earl Grey madeleine's texture like? (₩4,500)

Notldun's Earl Grey madeleine has a nice plump bump (the "belly button"). It's thinly glazed with Earl Grey flavor, and that crisp crackle the moment you bite in feels so good.

Earl Grey leaves are studded inside, so the Earl Grey aroma comes through really strongly.

Does the Wedding Imperial tea ade go with desserts? (₩8,000)

Notldun's Wedding Imperial ade has a slight vanilla scent and is sweet, with lime on top adding a fresh zing, such an appealing flavor〰️ I figured the desserts would go well with tea, and since there were tea ades, I ordered one! It wasn't too sweet, so it paired nicely with the desserts. Highly recommend!!

Notldun is a small dessert café whose refined, high-quality desserts left a strong impression. If you like pistachio, definitely try the Pistachio Festival 🙌

The interior is calm, so it was a nice place to rest for a bit, and the staff were so kind that I felt good the whole time. Notldun is near Seoulsup, and I saw lots of people taking desserts to go for a picnic!
