Sushi House is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of Baekdu Plaza, Pyeongchon-daero 217beon-gil, near Beomgye Station in Anyang, Gyeonggi, with plates starting at 2,000 won. The writer, who was pregnant, stopped in after an OB-GYN appointment and ate grilled and cooked sushi such as grilled king prawn, egg shrimp, scallop and freshwater eel, plus the QR-order dishes cheddar cheese egg shrimp and cheese red snow crab gratin. Sushi House near Beomgye Station: a conveyor sushi lunch for pregnant diners
Sushi House (스시하우스) is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant on the 2nd floor of the building right behind Bombit Hospital, near Beomgye Station. It has lots of grilled sushi, so even a pregnant diner can eat here with peace of mind. I was hungry after my appointment at Bombit Hospital, went straight to Sushi House and had a delicious conveyor sushi meal. It's perfect for a stop after the OB-GYN 💛

Sushi House is open daily from 11:30 to 21:30, with last order at 21:15. Plates are ₩2,000 each, and premium plates start at ₩3,000.

What are the seats like at Sushi House?
At Sushi House you sit at counter seats along the conveyor belt. Every pair of seats is separated by an acrylic panel, and I didn't feel any inconvenience sitting side by side with my companion.

It was well past lunchtime, yet plenty of people had still come to Sushi House for good-value conveyor sushi.

How do you order at Sushi House?
As soon as you sit down at Sushi House, miso soup comes out, and there's wasabi, rakkyo (pickled scallions) and gari (pickled ginger) on the side. A staff member briefly explained how it works, and the unusual part was that raw fish sushi and freshly cooked hot dishes are ordered separately through the QR code on the table!
Oh~ I tried it and it was really good. I'll explain this part in more detail later.

Here are the conveyor sushi menu and the price per plate. Basically, think of it as ₩2,000. Raw fish sushi is of course the most popular, but since I'm pregnant, I really liked how many kinds of grilled sushi there were. Just one plate of each and you're already full!
Like any conveyor sushi place, you watch the plates go by on the belt and grab what you like. The belt was mostly grilled items rather than raw fish, and raw fish sushi was made fresh when ordered by QR (which was actually a plus!)
So, shall I share the sushi I feasted on at Sushi House!
Grilled sushi a pregnant diner ate at Sushi House

The grilled prawn sushi (daeha-gui chobap) looked so eye-catching that I grabbed it right away.

Sweet, sauce-drizzled egg shrimp sushi. The springy texture was charming.

And bacon shrimp sushi, where the bacon gave it a fragrant, different flavor. As you may have noticed, Sushi House has a huge variety of shrimp sushi. It felt like "how far can you go with shrimp?" haha. There was so much variety that I never got tired of it, no matter how much I ate.

This is the plump scallop sushi. Since getting pregnant I've been too nervous to eat raw fish sushi, but the sweet-sour sushi rice (shari) and the taste of wasabi plus soy sauce kept tempting my appetite. Sushi House's wide range of grilled sushi satisfied it.

And this is the yukhoe tataki sushi. There's a plain beef tartare (yukhoe) sushi that looks the same, and a tataki version lightly seared with a flame. If you ask for it to be cooked more, they'll sear it more.

Seasoned sea bream belly sushi that melted in my mouth.

And of course freshwater eel sushi, which you can't skip among grilled fish. Wow! To all the pregnant moms looking for lunch after Bombit Hospital.. if you're craving sushi, stuff yourself with grilled sushi at Sushi House near Beomgye Station (happiness guaranteed)

This is the turban shell (sora) sushi I grabbed first, not knowing there was a cheese sora version. The cheese sora is tastier, so I recommend going for that one 😋
So near and yet so far.. the raw fish sushi. It's true that it pained me to watch things like salmon sushi, raw shrimp sushi and aged kimchi flounder sushi go by right in front of me, but the grilled sushi was so delicious that I got through it! 🤣
QR-order-only premium dishes at Sushi House

Many of Sushi House's really delicious sushi, premium sushi and side dishes never come around on the belt. Some rare sushi just doesn't show up because of timing, but you can order whatever you want from the order screen that opens when you scan the QR code.
They make it as soon as you order and bring it over! There are lots of next-level sushi that raise the quality of Sushi House, so you definitely have to try it.
The premium cheddar cheese egg shrimp was so good that I ordered it twice 😎

The cheese snow crab gratin was torched right before it was brought over, which made it tastier and the texture soft. I really recommend this one.

I finished with a fruit dessert (it's not on the menu, but it was on the belt). I had a great meal at Sushi House, the top spot for grilled sushi that satisfied a pregnant appetite!
Does Sushi House run any events?
Sushi House runs lots of events, such as giving you udon or cold soba noodles on rainy days, or a drink if you follow them on Naver. It's worth stopping by for sushi from Beomgye Station~!
