Round-the-clock Korean BBQ work dinner in Bucheon: Cham Dwaejitgan
In short
Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant open 24 hours a day, year-round, a 3-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sinjung-dong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. Looking for a work dinner spot, the writer ordered one serving of Boseong Nokdon pork belly and two of flower pork neck, grilled at the table by staff over rice-husk-smoked charcoal with a clear smoky aroma. Milk thistle served with the soju and mouthwash and floss handed out on the way out made Cham Dwaejitgan feel unusually thoughtful.

While trying to figure out a spot for a work dinner, I visited Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch, said to be a famous samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) restaurant in Bucheon's Sinjung-dong.

I'd heard they grill the meat over rice-husk-smoked charcoal, direct-fire style, so I went in half excited, half curious.

Where is Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong, and is it really open 24 hours?
Getting to Cham Dwaejitgan from Sinjung-dong Station
Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch is at 68 Jungdong-ro 262beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It's a 3-minute walk, 364m, from Sinjung-dong Station (Line 7) Exit 3.

Coming from the Lotte Department Store side, you'll spot it right away down the alley between KFC and McDonald's.
It's open 24 hours, every day of the year, with break time only from 8:30 to 11:30am — so it deserves a spot on any list of Korean BBQ restaurants you can visit late at night without worry.

Inside Cham Dwaejitgan: seating and atmosphere
Walking in, I was surprised by how much bigger and more open the interior felt than I expected. The tables were spaced generously too, which made it feel like a solid choice for a group dinner.

Orders go through a t'order tablet installed at each table, and the menu photos were nice and big, making it easy to choose.

There was also an event running where showing staff a Naver review or an Instagram story upload gets you a free canned drink or fried rice — and apparently the two can stack, so it's worth keeping in mind if you're planning a visit.

Boseong Nokdon pork belly and flower pork neck over rice-husk charcoal
Cham Dwaejitgan meat menu and prices
On this visit we ordered Boseong Nokdon Cham Samgyeopsal (150g) x1, Boseong Nokdon Kkotmokshal (flower pork neck, 150g) x2, one bottle of Saeropge Isulcheoreom soju, and one bowl of rice.

There were two kinds of pork on the menu — Boseong Nokdon and black pork Hanwoo pork. They also carry Grade 1 Jirisan black pork belly, which I'd like to try next time.

Because it's grilled direct-fire style over charcoal smoked with rice husks, a subtle smoky aroma clung to the surface of the meat, and you could definitely taste that char — a clear point of difference from other BBQ places.
Does the staff grill the pork for you?
What I especially liked was that the staff grill the meat for you.

They grilled it carefully from the first sear to the finish, so I could just relax and eat without worrying about missing the right moment.

The Boseong Nokdon flower pork neck was juicy, and it got softer and more savory the more I chewed — genuinely delicious food.

Raised domestically in Boseong and gently aged, the meat was really good. It's a chain, but this is the kind of taste you can trust.
Sauce bar and side dishes at Cham Dwaejitgan
At Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch, six sauces are set on the table — spicy sauce, mushroom wasabi, pickled garlic, salt, and more — so it was fun mixing and matching depending on my mood that day.

A piece of meat topped with garlic and sauce, plus a dab of mushroom wasabi, kept my hand going back for more without ever feeling greasy.

The basic side dishes — kimchi, bean sprouts, minari (water dropwort) — were generous too, and wrapping the meat with grilled kimchi and minari was a especially great combo.

They also grilled thin slices of mushroom and potato, cooked in the pork fat, which came out savory and light.
Milk thistle with your soju, and other nice touches

When we ordered soju, they gave us milk thistle liver supplement for free, which made drinking feel a little guilt-free.

I could feel the thoughtfulness of a place that's even considering how you'll feel the morning after.
The air conditioning was cool and comfortable, and the restrooms were separated by gender and kept clean — easy to use for a group gathering too.

On the way out, there was mouthwash, dental floss, and hair ties laid out — a considerate touch I appreciated.

Is Cham Dwaejitgan worth it for a work dinner in Bucheon?
If you're looking for a great samgyeopsal restaurant in Bucheon, I can confidently recommend Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch. Close to Sinjung-dong Station, open 24 hours, and with staff grilling the meat for you — the three factors line up nicely.
It's also a good option if you need to recommend a spot for a work dinner. I especially liked that the ventilation system at each table kept the smell of grilled meat from clinging to my clothes.
If you're after samgyeopsal in Bucheon's Sinjung-dong and can't decide on a spot for your next work dinner or gathering, I'd recommend giving Cham Dwaejitgan Bucheon Sinjung-dong Branch a try. Next time I visit, I'm definitely trying the Grade 1 black pork belly.
