VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch is on the 3rd floor of The City Seven Skycon, 320 Wonidae-ro, Seongsan-gu, Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do. It's open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 21:00, closed on Mondays.

It had been a while since my last dye job — the roots had grown out a lot, the color had lightened all over, and there was even some patchiness here and there, so this time I decided to bring the tone down a bit and calm it out.

I went back to Vice Director Yujeong at VOG HAIR City Seven Branch in Changwon, who I'd been happy with last time, and booked through Naver reservation before visiting.

The Nanohill repair clinic is a liquid-type treatment with nano-sized particles, so it absorbs deep into the hair quickly. Step one applies protein from the ends inward to rebuild the basic structure before dyeing; after dyeing, steps two and three follow in order.

First, the step-one clinic was applied to my hair, then the dye went on. She even applied it down to the lower sections to even out the patchy tone!

While the dye processed, I waited a bit, then steps two and three followed. I'd been curious whether dyeing and the clinic could really be done together — she explained that because Nanohill is a liquid type with small, fast-absorbing particles, it can run alongside the dyeing process. Step two refills extra protein to care for the inner hair once more and boost color retention, while step three smooths the cuticle and forms a moisture barrier to keep hair soft and glossy.

After shampooing, treatment went on and I waited a bit! Once the shampoo step was done, the face-line perm began.

I hated how flat my side hair used to sit, but with the sections curled carefully all the way to the sideburns, it caught exactly the effect I wanted.

How the tone-down root dye turned out: color and hair condition

Once the tone-down root dye, Nanohill clinic, and face-line perm were all done at VOG HAIR Changwon City Seven Branch, my hair was noticeably softer and more moisturized. Even without blow-drying, the texture felt great — the leftover perm from before blended in naturally, and the face-line was shaped without looking overdone.

The color had lightened overall over time and the contrast with the roots had started to bother me, but this tone-down blended out even the patchy spots and looked so much cleaner. The color came out calmer than before, and my hair overall looked tidy and put together — I was happy with the results again this time.
