Looking for a Changwon salon to fix long-hair frizz

Recently, as I've been growing my hair out, it's gotten noticeably frizzy overall — especially on humid days, when it lifts easily and just won't settle down. So this time I went looking for a hair salon in Changwon and ended up getting a volume magic perm together with a nano heal clinic at VOG Hair.

I'm not really a fan of the style where a straight perm makes your hair cling too flat to the scalp or leaves the ends stiff and ruler-straight. Shampoo → cut → nano heal step 1 PPT → dry → step 2 Saint → Tangriti perm solution → nano heal step 3 repair → step 4 coat → shampoo → pre-treatment → flat iron → neutralization → shampoo → hair pack → aroma → dry → final cut

Starting with a cut after shampoo

First they shampooed my hair, then consulted with me about my current hair condition and desired length before cutting. I said a bit shorter was fine but I didn't want a clear bob look, so they kept the overall length while tidying up the layers and front section naturally. I also mentioned I'd been worried about a lot of hair falling out lately, and when they looked closely they said there was quite a bit of new baby hair growing in, which was reassuring.

Nano heal clinic steps 1 and 2

After the cut, they applied the nano heal clinic's step 1 PPT liquid product to my wet hair. Then they blow-dried it before using the step 2 product, Saint. (This is the process that fills in the components the hair needs.) Since volume magic uses heat, I always worry about hair condition — so I liked that the clinic steps were broken down and worked in both before and after the perm process.

Volume magic with Tangriti perm solution

This volume magic used the Tangriti perm solution. Apparently it's a product that uses GMT-based ingredients. It's designed to reduce the burden a typical perm process puts on hair — which was exactly what I needed, since I want to keep my hair long even though it's a bit dry and rough.

Nano heal clinic steps 3 and 4 during the volume magic

After the perm solution stage, the clinic steps continued. Step 3 is the repair stage, using a product containing CMC, which they explained helps protein components settle properly into the hair. In simple terms, it's the process that helps the needed components bond well inside the hair. The following step 4, coat, filled in shine and moisture. Because the clinic wasn't just a simple 1-2 step process but continued through steps 3 and 4 in the middle of the perm, it really did feel like getting the volume magic and the clinic together.

Careful work from flat ironing to neutralization

After the clinic steps, they shampooed again, applied the Tangriti perm pre-treatment, and blow-dried. Then came the flat ironing, done carefully section by section. This is the step that takes the most time in a volume magic but also determines the result, so it was done meticulously following the lines of my hair. After the ironing, they applied the neutralizer, let it sit, then shampooed again. Finally, they finished with a hair pack and aroma care before drying.

A finished style where the roots don't cling

There were two things I cared about most going into this volume magic.

Looking at the finished result, the overall frizz was tamed, and the ends fell relatively naturally without being too stiffly straightened. Especially from the side, the overall silhouette looked much cleaner, and the length stayed close to what I'd asked for without getting too short — I was happy with that.

Tips for drying hair after a volume magic

At the end, they also showed me how to dry my hair at home. If you want the volume to look more natural, instead of drying by pressing from top to bottom right away, they recommended tilting your head down and drying thoroughly from the scalp and roots first. Since I hate it when a volume magic makes the roots cling too much, this was a tip I could actually use at home.
