A review of Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station, a pizza and pasta spot near Hapjeong Station ♪
This is calm and steady Bonibonie ~♪ 🌿 I went to Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station, a great date spot in Hapjeong, and enjoyed the perfect combo of wood-fired pizza and pasta.
Pizzeria O is the pizza brand of Chef Lee Jin-hyung, who once placed first at the World Pizza Championship. 'O' is meant as an exclamation, and their slogan is 'baking amazement.' They bake dough that's been cold-fermented for 72 hours in a wood-fired oven, so I had high expectations for the pizza.

Mint exterior and full-height windows: inside Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station

Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station has a pretty mint sky-blue exterior that catches your eye from far away, and floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of sunlight, giving it a bright, cheerful café-like feel. Stepping inside, the mix of floor tiles and chandeliers made for a distinctive interior too.

It's a cozy space with accent details scattered throughout, so it suits dates or group meals well. When I visited, a foreign customer with a baby in a stroller was also enjoying a meal there.

Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station menu and what was ordered

The menu is diverse, ranging from pizza to pasta, salads, draft beer, ade, coffee, and wine. There are especially many kinds of pizza. If you're not sure what to choose, ask the staff — they'll explain kindly.
I like mild flavors and tomato sauce, so this is what I ordered.

- Seafood pasta
- Carbonara
- Peach iced tea
Margherita Bufala: bufala cheese and basil

Margherita Bufala is a Margherita pizza topped with fresh bufala cheese from Italy's Campania region.

The tangy tomato sauce, soft and savory bufala cheese, and fragrant basil came together beautifully, with a slightly salty umami touch that gave it great depth of flavor.

The dough was nice and chewy, and I enjoyed it a lot — the tangy pickles alongside kept refreshing my palate between bites. I thought about trying the jalapeños too, but my friend, who'd tasted them first, stopped me, saying, 'You can't handle these.' Haha. I passed, and my friend, who's good with spicy food, enjoyed them with the pizza instead.
Can the seafood pasta spice level be adjusted?

The seafood pasta at Pizzeria O Hapjeong Station can be made less spicy on request. It's an appetite-whetting dish made with whole squid and various seafood in a pomodoro sauce with spicy peperoncino. The menu showed two chili marks for spice level, which made me hesitate a little, but they told me the spice could be adjusted, so I ordered it milder.

The pasta had a brothy sauce, more like a soup-style pasta, and the portion was generous. With crab, mussels, shrimp, and squid all mixed in, the seafood's umami really came through in the sauce, making it a satisfying dish to enjoy.
Carbonara topped with a poached egg

The carbonara came with a pretty, round poached egg on top. Breaking the yolk and mixing it well into the noodles and sauce added a rich, savory flavor to the already creamy sauce, making it thick and indulgent.
Sweet peach iced tea
