Dongdaegu Station raw beef on a KTX day trip: Haepumsosaeng Gogi

Haepumsosaeng Gogi (해품소생고기) is a raw hanwoo beef (mungtigi) restaurant at the end of the Sincheon-dong food alley in Dong-gu, Daegu, within walking distance of Dongdaegu Station. On a KTX day trip from Daejeon, the writer arrived for the 5 PM weekday opening and ordered medium raw hanwoo beef (250g, 50,000 won) and brisket odeuregi (300g, 50,000 won). The mungtigi was so sticky it stayed on the plate when flipped four times, and the generous spread began with beef porridge. Verdict: Haepumsosaeng Gogi is a good stop on a Daegu trip for mungtigi and drinking snacks in one meal.
