Why I chose a vacuum-suction MagSafe holder

These days, there are so many things to do while driving—checking navigation, changing the music, and more—that I wanted to properly try a car phone holder~ My husband’s existing holder clips into the air vent, but I didn’t really like the position, haha.

So this time, I tried a vacuum-suction MagSafe holder. I usually worry that these holders will be annoying to attach and remove, or that they might fall off, but I chose this one because I was curious about its vacuum-suction system.

Dial vacuum-suction design and what’s included

Let’s unbox it. There were so many things in there, starting with the stickers, that I stared at it for a while, haha.

This car holder seals itself with vacuum suction when you turn the dial, so it felt different from the moment I installed it. Another nice point is that it can rotate 360 degrees!!

Galaxy Z Flip MagSafe case magnetic hold

The MagSafe magnetic hold is very good. I’m currently not using an iPhone but a Galaxy Android phone, so I tried it with a MagSafe case on, and it’s great.

For reference, the phone I use now is a Z Flip, and that one is a spare phone. Even though I bought its case at Daiso, the MagSafe magnetic hold is really good!!!

Dashboard installation and angle adjustment: how was it?

It says this product can be attached not only to a car dashboard but also to places like mirrors, so I thought it could be useful in other spaces too, not just in the car. Since it uses suction, it was also relatively simple to attach and remove, so changing its position wasn’t difficult.

Because it’s a MagSafe holder, placing the phone on it is easy too. It was easy to attach and remove with one hand while driving, so it was less inconvenient on the road. I worried the hold might be weak and the phone could fall, but I didn’t have that anxiety while using it.

After trying it, I think it would suit people who use their smartphones often while driving, are looking for a dashboard holder, or want a car holder with strong suction. In particular, if you’re looking for a MagSafe holder, I felt this was worth trying at least once.

Even when I used it on top of the dashboard, it didn’t block my view, and the angle adjustment was quite flexible, so it was good for everyday driving.

Rather than simply sticking on, this type locks with a dial, so it attaches quite securely to the dashboard. I installed it on my car dashboard, and it stayed firmly in place without wobbling, so my first impression was satisfying.

And another nice point is that it rotates 360 degrees. For those who often switch between landscape and portrait screens while driving, this is more important than you might think, right? The phone angle was freely adjustable, so it was convenient when looking at navigation, and rotating the screen felt smooth without any catching.

Overall, I’ve been using it well without any inconvenience, and what I liked most was how easy the MagSafe holder makes attaching and removing the phone. If you’re considering a car phone holder, I think this is a useful one to keep in mind.
