Why Four & More for a meal near Paju Book City

On the day I visited Paju Book City (the publishing district) and Paju Lotte Outlets, I picked Four & More (포앤모어), a brunch café on Soraji-ro, for dinner. It was a day trip from Seoul, and since we'd come all the way out to Paju, we looked around the publishing district and did some shopping at Paju Lotte Outlets too.

But it wasn't as easy as I expected to find a restaurant I liked in the publishing district or the outlets. (There are lots of cafés, though!)

Since we'd come this far, I wanted to eat somewhere with a nice atmosphere, and that's how I found Four & More. It seems to be a rising name for people looking for brunch in Songchon-dong, Paju.

Four & More is at 235 Soraji-ro, Paju, Gyeonggi, and it's open daily from 09:30 to 21:30. Meals start at 10:30, and last order is at 20:00.

You can park on both sides of the ground floor or in the underground car park, so getting there was easy.

What's the atmosphere at Four & More like?

Four & More is a brunch café where you can enjoy both a meal and a café.

It's a fine place to drop by for just coffee and bakery items, and the meal menu is varied too, so it works for lunch or dinner as well.

Above all, the view through the big windows makes the mood so good. Each floor felt a little different, and the spacious interior never felt stuffy.

There's also a terrace, and I imagine the mood is really lovely if you visit around sunset.

Maybe that's why I saw lots of couples looking for a date spot in Paju. It felt like a place where you can dine at a relaxed pace.

If you're looking for a big café in Paju with good food, give Four & More a visit.

Four & More menu: pasta, pizza and bakery

The brunch menu was more varied than I expected.

Besides the limited-edition truffle potato gnocchi and lasagna, there were plenty of pastas, including tuumba pasta (creamy spicy shrimp pasta), rosé pasta and oil pasta.

The pizza menu was varied too: jamón arugula pizza, margherita pizza, bacon potato pizza, gorgonzola pizza and more. With that many choices, it looked great for sharing if you come in a group.

I could see why so many people look for brunch in Songchon-dong, Paju. From brunch to full meals the choice is wide, so it shouldn't be hard to pick something whoever you come with.

The bakery selection was pretty varied too.

There were breads good as a light meal, and lots of sweet breads on display that go well with coffee as dessert.

Truffle gnocchi and lasagna for dinner: how did they taste?

I visited in the evening and ordered from the meal menu.

Truffle potato gnocchi

The truffle potato gnocchi is a limited-edition dish: house-made potato gnocchi with a truffle cream sauce. The sauce was creamy with a strong truffle aroma, so I think people who like thick, rich sauces will enjoy it.

The gnocchi was pleasantly chewy yet soft, and went well with the sauce.

Lasagna

The lasagna is made with house-simmered ragù and béchamel sauce, with layers of pasta sheets stacked up.

The rich tomato flavor really came through, and there was plenty of meat inside, so even a single plate felt filling.

I was especially glad I ordered it together with the truffle gnocchi.

Alternating between the creamy truffle sauce and the rich tomato ragù balanced out the flavors, so I never got tired of it and enjoyed it to the end.

If you're looking for brunch in Songchon-dong, Paju, I think the dinner menu will satisfy you just as much as the brunch.

Is there an evening bakery discount at Four & More?

Yes, Four & More takes 30% off bakery items after 6 PM. So I picked up a few breads on the way home. Getting a discount made it even more satisfying.
