We went to Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch for a Jamsil date! My boyfriend and I both love pizza, so I went looking for a great pizza place among the Jamsil Songridan-gil restaurants. Since it was a date, I wanted somewhere with good atmosphere too, and this is the one I picked.

Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch has no parking of its own, so you use the nearby public lot, Songpa Neighborhood Park parking lot. It's paid, but capped at ₩3,600, and it's about a 5-minute walk to the restaurant.

By subway, this Jamsil Songridan-gil gem is close to Songpanaru Station. My boyfriend drove, and he parked at the nearby public lot, Songpa Neighborhood Park parking lot. No parking support from the restaurant, but it's only about a 5-minute walk and cheap at up to ₩3,600, so it's a great spot to park for a Songridan-gil date. We could keep the car there not just during our meal at Pizza Never Sleeps but for the whole Jamsil date, which was nice.

What is the atmosphere like at Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch for a date?

Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch is a hip basement restaurant with slightly dim lighting, a good mood for a date or a blind date. The staff were friendly too, and we felt really well looked after.

The moment we walked in, my boyfriend and I were both wowed by the hip yet grand atmosphere, haha. It's a bit dark, which gives it that hip feel, and it looks like a great place for a date or a blind date..! Slightly dim is nicer than too bright, so the mood is lovely~ and the staff were so kind that we felt well looked after.

How do you choose the menu and size at Pizza Never Sleeps?

Pizza Never Sleeps makes its dough by hand in the restaurant, and you can order any pizza half-and-half. There are two sizes, regular and large: regular is recommended for 2–3 people, large for 3–4.

I'd always been curious about their other branches, so I was glad to finally come. There were a huge number of pizzas, and since every one can be ordered as a half, we were spared the agonizing!!

Among my reasons for recommending this Jamsil Songridan-gil restaurant: the pizza is great, of course, but the biggest thing was the wide range of side dishes and, above all, the variety of drinks! They even had Kozel Dark, which we absolutely love!!! But I couldn't drink because of the car... (sob). Next time we'll come on foot and have pizza and beer with Kozel Dark for sure..

Free kimchi and a clean Tabasco bottle

Kimchi comes out by default at Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch, which is unusual and which I loved! I think even people who can't handle greasy food would enjoy the pizza more!! I also loved that the Tabasco sauce on each table was a clean, fresh bottle. When it's sticky.. and grubby, you just don't want to use it, ugh.

How does the half potato, half pepperoni regular pizza taste?

This day we ordered a half-and-half pizza, potato + pepperoni, in regular size. Even the regular is big enough to pass as a large, so for up to 2–3 people I'd definitely go regular!

A glossy, freshly baked pizza, it's hard for that to be bad 🥹 Personally I prefer pizza with thin, crispy crust edges, and this was delicious all the way to the end of the crust.

Potato pizza: lightly sweet sauce and french fries

The potato pizza is drizzled with a slightly sweet sauce, and it goes so well with the salty cheese and pizza sauce (sob)! It's not very sweet, just a light hint of sweetness!

The fries were freshly fried too, so crispy outside and fluffy inside..! You could tell the fryer oil was clean, with no oily smell at all. There turned out to be a ton of fries, so we ate them on their own and also piled them onto the pepperoni! If you're going half-and-half, potato is a must..🥹

Pepperoni pizza: loaded with toppings and cheese

Pepperoni is the root of all pizza! There was a double pepperoni too, but even the regular pepperoni pizza has a huge amount of pepperoni! Loaded with cheese as well, so it stretches and stretches.. 🍕

Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch is the tastiest pizza the writer has eaten recently. It tastes just like it looks.. On Jamsil dates I often hunt for Songridan-gil restaurants, and today again: another great find!!

We came at an in-between hour, yet I was surprised that lots of people kept arriving after us, from couples on dates to groups of friends..! Next time we'll come in the evening and have pizza and beer while soaking in the hip atmosphere of Pizza Never Sleeps!! I recommend Pizza Never Sleeps Songridan-gil Branch as a Jamsil Songridan-gil pizza spot!!
