My side hair tends to stick out easily, so it took extra attention every morning when styling it. To tidy up the sides, I had a cut, a down perm, and a perm to add volume to my fringe at Divers Barbershop Gangnam-gu Office Station Branch (다이버스 바버샵 강남구청역점).

How did I get to the barbershop from Gangnam-gu Office Station?

The shop is on B1 of SK Hub Blue at 342 Hakdong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It was an easy walk from Gangnam-gu Office Station, so I used public transit. I made a Naver reservation in advance, and on the day of my visit, I was able to have the consultation and service right away without waiting.

The green door stood out at the entrance. The classic barbershop atmosphere was apparent even before I stepped inside.

What was the atmosphere like inside?

It was an antique-style space with wooden furniture, vintage lighting, and substantial-looking barber chairs. It was not crowded when I visited with a reservation, so I could get my hair done quietly.

Tools such as scissors, combs, and razors were neatly arranged at the workstation. I liked being able to receive the consultation and service in a calm atmosphere.

How were my sticking-out sides discussed and treated?

First, we discussed the style while my hair condition was checked.
