Gangnam barbershop men's cut and line cleanup: Divers Barbershop
In short
Divers Barbershop Gangnam-gu Office Station Branch is a barbershop near Exit 2 of Gangnam-gu Office Station in Gangnam, Seoul. I went with my husband for his first barbershop cut in nearly two months, and we appreciated the careful line work and length check-ins, though it initially felt unfamiliar.

Because of business trips and other commitments, my husband had not had a haircut in nearly two months. He usually gets his hair cut at a regular salon, but this time we visited Divers Barbershop Gangnam-gu Office Station Branch (다이버스 바버샵 강남구청역점) together because we were curious about barbershops. It was the first barbershop visit for both of us.
Is it easy to reach from Gangnam-gu Office Station?
The shop is at 107, B1, SK Hub Blue, 342 Hakdong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It is close to Exit 2 of Gangnam-gu Office Station, so it was not difficult to find. We visited briefly during a work lunch break, and its proximity to the station was convenient.

What was the atmosphere like at our first barbershop?
The interior paired deep green walls with wood furniture, classic lighting, and barber chairs. It felt different from the hair salons I was used to, and the overall atmosphere was calm.

A barbershop felt a little unfamiliar at first, but once we went in, it came across as more neat and comfortable. The scissors, clippers, and brushes placed around the room also caught my eye. My husband felt awkward at first too, but he relaxed into the haircut once the consultation began.
How was his two months of growth cleaned up?
Before the haircut, the sides and back had grown out considerably, making the overall shape look heavy. The stylist first looked closely at which areas needed to be tidied and how.

Watching from the side, I noticed the process of shaping the side and back lines to suit his head shape and carefully refining the overall balance. It felt like attention was paid not only to the length, but also to where the sides and back connected.

The stylist alternated between scissors and clippers to carefully clean up the sides and back. My husband is particular about haircut lines, and he liked that the stylist checked the existing shape of his hair and tidied it naturally. As the cut progressed, the outline of his previously heavy, grown-out hair became neater.

Were the length consultation and haircut result satisfying?
They asked for his thoughts on the length throughout the cut and also explained a style that would be easy to manage day to day. After trying it himself, my husband said it felt more specialized in men's haircuts.
To me as well, his overall silhouette looked more orderly, and the cleaner sides and back made his facial outline look more defined. Since it had been nearly two months since his last haircut, the before-and-after difference felt even more noticeable.

Unlike the initial awkwardness, my husband looked pleased after the haircut. What stayed with me was that even on his first barbershop visit, the consultation made the experience feel comfortable.

On this visit, I especially liked the location near the station and the careful work on the side and back lines. It is a place I would think of again if my husband wants a neat haircut next time.
