Kkuudeok Seolleung Main Branch (꾸우덕) is at 16 Seolleung-ro 82-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 1st floor of the Sui Building. It's open daily from 11:00 to 21:00, with break time at 14:30 - 15:30 on weekdays and 15:00 - 16:30 on weekends.

Today I visited Kkuudeok, a famous Western restaurant in Seolleung! I told a close older friend that I was desperate for pasta and steak, and he recommended it right away :)

Kkuudeok is 5 minutes from Seolleung Station, and I came today with the friend who recommended it!

At the entrance there's a menu board and Catch Table, and we decided what to order outside before going in! We had made a reservation, so we were shown to our seats right away. The moment you walk in, you can feel how clean the place is!

I liked that every table has its own lighting, and each seat came with water and pickles already set out.

I poured the water and had some pickles before ordering, and it was so cold and tasty!

It was really hot today, and inside Kkuudeok it was seriously cool :) The second I walked in I went, "Wow... I'm saved..." haha

There's also a seating area right at the entrance for people waiting! If you have to wait, you don't need to stand outside; waiting inside seems like a good idea.

We sat on the outer side, which has a nice mood. Looking at it again, the place is really clean and the atmosphere is great :)

First, they brought out our cold Coke and Sprite right away, along with cups of ice, so refreshing +ㅇ+

Our Kkuudeok Hansang Set arrived. Doesn't it look gorgeous!? What I really liked was that everything came out at once, so we could enjoy it all right away!

How do you grill the flat iron steak in butter at Kkuudeok?

The flat iron steak comes pre-seared, and a staff member explained that you turn on the heat, add butter and grill it as much as you like :) So I started with the steak!

The steak came with mushrooms, grilled corn, jalapeños, asparagus and butter! My mouth watered the second I saw it +ㅇ+

Seasonings and sauces to make the steak even better came too :) I personally love soy-sauce-based flavors, so I was super curious about the first sauce!

First, I melted the butter as the staff member told us. Even watching the butter melt looked delicious!

Then I laid the steak right on. Since it came pre-seared, it cooked quickly! It was done in under 5 minutes :) Okay, time to dig in!

Flat iron steak with scallion soy sauce at Kkuudeok

To enjoy the steak's natural flavor, I first ate a piece plain, and the juices burst out in my mouth and it just melted...

Then I dipped it in the scallion soy sauce I'd been so curious about, and it was crazy... it went so, so well with the sauce and was delicious! If you like scallions, eating it with fresh scallions is great: the crunchy scallions and tender steak are a wonderful combo!

I also dunked a piece in the seasoning sauce and had it with asparagus, and as expected, it was as good as expected... Personally I think asparagus and steak is the best combination +ㅇ+

It was so good that I finished it fast, so I started round two! Because it was pre-seared, it cooked quickly again! The look of it is insane, right ㅠㅠ I really enjoyed every bite +ㅇ+

How does Kkuudeok's bacon carbonara pasta taste?

The bacon carbonara pasta was my pick, and there was a ton of bacon and a lovely thick, creamy texture!? The egg yolk in the middle was impressive too.

The noodles mixed together really well, which amazed me! I hadn't had cream pasta in ages, so I was really looking forward to it :)

Pasta has to be twirled on a fork, of course! One bite and the cream and bacon combo was so delicious ㅠㅁㅠ I used to eat cream pasta all the time, and having it again after so long was wonderful... It's even in my top 3 cream pastas I've ever had!

Kkuudeok's spicy crab cream risotto: is there plenty of crab?

The spicy crab cream risotto was my friend's order. It had 2 pieces of crab, big and plump with meat. The crab aroma smelled so, so good!

He broke the yolk and mixed it in, and I was drooling... When I asked for a bite right away, he said, "I eat first..." haha

The 2 pieces of crab scattered through it were really generous!? The crab was huge, and the moment my friend took a bite he said the crab was big and plump and so delicious!

I tried a bite too, and if you like crab, I really recommend it. The crab aroma spreads in your mouth and it's so good!

Is Kkuudeok Seolleung Main Branch good for a date or a special occasion?

I hadn't had pasta and steak in a long time, and it was so delicious that I was really happy. The place is cozy and clean, so I think it would also be good for a date or special occasion!
