There was a wait at Brivit Gangnam even though I went on a weekday!!!!!! Brivit, which goes by "European comfort dinning," is a Gangnam Station blind-date hotspot I'd been dying to visit. I fell for the Seongsu branch because the food was so good and the mood so lovely, and then found out there's one at Gangnam Station too. I'd read blog reviews saying it's already a go-to for blind dates and wedding-invitation get-togethers, and yep, it was true. The European vibe is crazy, the atmosphere is so good and the food is delicious. Here's my Brivit Gangnam Station review 🥹✨

Getting to Brivit Gangnam and opening hours

Brivit Gangnam is an easy walk from Exit 11 of Gangnam Station and Exit 6 of Sinnonhyeon Station, so I highly recommend it as a meetup spot! It's open daily 11:30–21:15.

Ahh, the European vibe is just so good!!! From the outside it feels like a small restaurant in Europe, with a cozy, warm interior 🌿 Best of Seoul, best of Gangnam! Is the Brivit terrace good for a date?

Brivit Gangnam has a big terrace seating area (?). The view across is an AB Café, but it's perfect for an autumn day like this, right? The tables are wide too, which I loved. I think it's a really good spot for couples on a date, and maybe even for the second meeting after a blind date.

AB Café, full of memories, haha. I've honestly never seen it that empty. But Brivit had a waiting list! I still can't believe a European-vibe place like Brivit opened in Gangnam Station!! This table has a certain feel too, doesn't it? Here are some photos I took while waiting,,

There are so many delicious dishes that I recommend it for wedding-invitation get-togethers, and the plating is pretty too, so I really recommend it.

Such a long wait on a weekday, and not even a Friday! And the streets of Gangnam Station weren't crowded either,, if that's not a Gangnam Station blind-date hotspot, what is!

Brivit Gangnam nailed the vibe down to the tableware, napkins and wet wipes, and I was so satisfied. And it tasted good too!

Make sure you leave a Naver review for this one! We didn't, though, because we weren't planning on drinking ades.. a shame, but we held back ㅠ.ㅠ

The place was really packed, but there's also a nicely set-up spot inside arranged like terrace seating? Next time we'll eat there! haha

What we ordered at Brivit this time was a mix of the popular signature dishes and a side we'd been curious about! 🍽️ Here's our lovely lineup and my honest review.

After we ordered, the staff kindly told us there would be a bit of a wait.. the staff were so friendly that it made the whole meal feel even nicer, I think,,

While waiting, I pulled out the Don Quijote lip balm I brought back from Japan. It's cheap, so it makes an easy gift. I've already given a few away, and this one is for me and my boyfriend! And I'm taking medicine again for my patellar tendinitis ㅠ.ㅠ I left it on the table so I wouldn't forget to take it.

Spicy fried eggplant, ₩10,900: a side that's practically a main?

Brivit's spicy fried eggplant (₩10,900) is a side, but the quality and portion are almost main-dish level. The fried eggplant arrives first! I order this every single time I go to Brivit.

I thought it was just a light side and got a total plot twist with this spicy fried eggplant! At a generous ₩10,900, the quality and portion are almost main-dish level, the best of the best. My boyfriend tried it and was amazed again and again, haha. Let's get it again hahahahaha

The look is so pretty too, right? It's also perfect with a light beer or ade, so if you visit Brivit this is a must-order! Dipping it in the chipotle sauce is the kicker, and the crunch is so good I want to steal the recipe,,

Spicy jambon risotto, ₩18,900: why we ordered it again

Brivit's spicy jambon risotto (₩18,900) is a dream partner for the richness of the cream pasta! Soft, salty jambon (French-style ham) is piled generously on top, and the sight alone made my mouth water. Honestly I'd had it before, so I already knew the taste, but it was so good that I ordered it again, hehe. I really love how pretty the plate is too.

Bacon cream pasta, ₩18,900: thick, rich cream

Brivit's bacon cream pasta (₩18,900) is one that anyone who likes cream pasta will love, no divided opinions! First, the sauce isn't thin at all; it's super rich and thick. It clings to the noodles, and from the first bite your mouth fills with richness 🥹

The plating is so pretty. And the plate is so pretty too.

The flavor of the thick-cut bacon with the thick cream is just crazy.. Cream pasta usually gets heavy halfway through, but Brivit's bacon cream pasta has such deep savoriness that you end up scraping up every last spoonful of sauce. If you're a cream fanatic, put it first on your order list! 👍 So pretty, right? It's so pretty that I stood up out of my seat to take photos, haha

Yorkshire pudding, ₩1,500: a bread, not a dessert?

Brivit's Yorkshire pudding (₩1,500) isn't a sweet dessert pudding but a traditional English baked bread pudding, golden from the oven. It was the most unusual and fresh dish of this visit! At first I was going to order it thinking it was a dessert pudding, but when I asked the staff "is this good?" while ordering, they explained that it's not a pudding, it's bread, haha

The outside is golden and crisp, the inside chewy, with a plain, nutty flavor that's excellent. It came fresh out of the oven, piping hot. Amazing value for money!

Don't just eat the Yorkshire pudding plain: dunk it deep into the thick cream sauce of the bacon cream pasta or the sauce of the spicy jambon risotto! The pairing is crazy.. The bread soaks up the rich sauce like a sponge, so it comes out moist and full of flavor. For just ₩1,500 it boosts the flavor of the dish by 200%, so definitely add one and enjoy the combo 💡

Is Brivit Gangnam good for blind dates and wedding-invitation get-togethers?

Brivit Gangnam nailed all three: atmosphere, service and the quality of the food! Overall the portions were generous and the prices reasonable for Gangnam Station, so I was very satisfied. Above all, the interior is pretty and comfortable for talking, so I wholeheartedly recommend it for a Gangnam Station date, blind date or wedding-invitation get-together 💕 If you're curious about the tasty pasta and the unusual Yorkshire pudding pairing, do go. You won't regret it.

Also, on the row right in front of Brivit is the café we visited way back when we first met, hahaha. We reminisced about that time and had a happy Gangnam Station date, hehe.
